Props to Jason Garrett

Jason Garrett has not been as advertised. He does not have final roster control, he is not innovative, he is not good at personnel decisions pre-Will McClay, he keeps making dumbo decisions (i.e. attend base ball game when team is 3-5), has 4 winning seasons in 8 seasons as Head Coach and has a playoff record 2-3.

In contrast Mike McCarthy who is sitting at home eaten stale Greenbay cheespuffs had 7 winning seasons in 9 years, a Super Bowl and playoff record of 10-8.

Who got the props? Garrett gets gets no props.

how is he not good pre-McClay. which coach is good without a good GM, please name a few so we become enlightened. not going to argue if innovative or not...but as OC he did have the team in top 5 offensively twice. and I agree that he has made bad in game decisions.

Mike McCarthy got fired...its funny that people here dont' give credit to garrett and say its Romo or Dak, yet McCarthy is great, despite having Rodgers, the 3 time MVP.

Here is why I have trouble giving credit...they’ve spent 8-9 years reshuffling the deck snd surrounding him with a near perfect situation. I’m not even sure what he does now with a real O coordinator etc. Seriously what is is skill set now?

I don’t dislike Jason. I just think Jerry snd the FO deserve credit for almost making this team JG proof

I agree. At some point you have to admit that Garrett was a bad OC and a suspect HC and the team continues to get better and better the further he gets away from the offense and game day management.

Do you think linehan getting fired was a compliment to the job Linehan was doing? Do you think replacing Garrett with Linehan was a compliment to Garrett?

Are you not seeing the differences in the Moore led offense as compared to Garrett or Linehan?

Clapper had many many many years to do these things on his play design/play call watch and NEVER DID. ....That says pretty much all I need to know about the clapper..

Two years? He has had 10 years. And its not like the REST of the league isn't doing this stuff. All he had to do was copy other OC's.

Those two TD's by Witten by the goal line were pick plays. Simple things Garrett the moron wouldn't do.

Garrett never wanted to do both. When JJ made him HC he insisted JG be the OC. JG had no issues and wanted to give those duties up.

Garrett has fought giving up the offense the entire time here. Jerry FORCED Garrett to give it up. Just like he warned Garrett to stay out of the way of Moore and let him do his thing.

Garrett's usefulness on the offensive side of the ball was used up many many years ago.

Look at Linehan? 2016 was amazing. Then team catch up and they cant adjust.

Moore > Linehan > Garrett

Linehan was terrible, but he was better than Garrett. Sadly.
