Dak Prescott is off to the best start of his career and he’s got the numbers to prove it.

Prescott’s seven touchdown passes in the first two weeks are the most by a Dallas Cowboys’ quarterback since Don Meredith had seven in the first two games in 1966.

His 42-yard run in Sunday’s 31-21 win over the Washington Commanders is the second-longest in team history behind Danny White’s 48-yard run in 1980.

1966 Merideth won player of the year which is equivalent to MVP now leading Cowboys to first Championship appearance.

If Dak continues this pace he’ll win MVP and we’ll be playing for a championship.

This is all our talented roster needed was a more Elite QB.

On Sunday, he completed 18 consecutive passes to tie his career-high, which is the second-longest stretch in team history behind Brandon Weeden’s 21 in a row over the span of five games in 2014-2015.

The Cowboys have scored 76 points in their first two games, which ranks fifth all-time in team history. Dallas has nine touchdowns in the first two weeks this season. They didn’t score their ninth touchdown in 2018 until Week 6.

Mahomes is winning MVP unless he slips in the shower and breaks something.

Not if Dak continues at this pace taking us to our first championship appearance this era.

I don’t believe Dak will continue this pace.. but if he does.

The injury to Gallup hurts a lot but luckily this is actually a deep offense and we can always lean on the rushing attack a bit . Should be able to sort out the Saints and Dolphins without Michael, probably need him to keep up with A-Rod though.

And your point is what? You do know neither QB ever got to the Superbowl right,

All I want to see is business taken care of every game with no excuses to fall back on like I've heard for the last 2 and a half seasons.

We got one hiccup in Gallup, I don't expect Dak to start missing passes left and right. We're not playing contenders right now, but we're doing what we're supposed to.

No point. Simply stating the historic significance.

And for the record Merideth played for two NFL Championships and White 3 NFC Championships. If Dak can reach either of those plateaus it will be quite an achievement.

If Dak continues at this pace it definitely increases our chances.

Just shows how biased the media is
Mahommes is probably the most talented QB right now in the league and the odds on favorite deservingly so but if Dak continues this Historic pace which would be over 50 TD’s leading us to a Super Bowl, I have no doubt he’d win MVP.

Hopefully not one of those Super Bowl or Bust type fans.
No one who has watched since Eddie LaBaron, and is still waiting the last 23 years, if your OK with mediocrity and that's good for you no problem, 3 Dallas QB's have taken the DC to the SB, 23 years and counting there hasn't even been a Conf Championship game played so I look at it as 2 games means squat in the big picture. Let see where this team is come late January. Anything less than a Superbowl is another failed season no easy way to tell you that.

Mahomes is on the same pace...but yea, if two guys throw for 50+ touchdowns it will probably just go to the guy on the better team.
