Mahomes is a great kid and a great QB. And, Aikman has earned the right to respond to a dumb article any was he wishes. He's become a very knowledgeable announcer, even if he's stuck with that dumb Buck.

Let's hold the fort before declaring him the next Aikman. There probably won't be another Aikman - his career is unique in itself. You can say his roster was loaded each of the 3 Super Bowl winning years, but the fact is the man was a perfect beast in the playoffs. One bad quarter in 1994 cost us possibly 4 straight Super Bowls. Sure, that interception he threw in the opening minute I'd like to forever have back...... but he was near flawless in 4 straight playoffs apart from that one bad pass which might've been the difference in the game.

Why do people even care if an athlete is arrogant? You can never win with fans. They hate you if you're too arrogant. They hate you if you're too humble. I think this was rather small of Aikman. He didn't win a Super Bowl until his 4th year in the league, either, so he technically had no Lombardis at this same time point in Mahomes' career, an NFL starting-QB sophomore.

Not to mention that Aikman's Cowboys were far more loaded, talent-wise, than Mahomes' Chiefs.

Just give the young guy credit and praise him. He's lighting up the game. He is the Stephen Curry of football.

I noticed yesterday and from highlights today. I was going to post at some point.

Mahomes is starting to remind me on the cockiness level of Cam Newton.
Almost Arrogant with on the field antics. Not quite as bad, but a sign of it.

Nothing wrong with arrogant and cocky if you can back it up. I love seeing it. What's the worst is when you are cocky and are the likes of Kirk Cousins, who has never did anything.
