I cant get over the flashback to Linehan and Garretts cookie cutter, play not to lose game plan and lack of adjustments.

And neither excuse is palatable.

1. This was all Moores doing and he just screwed it up
2. He was told what to do and is a puppet himself.
it's getting deep here, more BS with no facts. Dak wins great Dak looses dam the OC sucks I think theres blame all around.

I have to say I feel bad for him, Dallas wins and some fans act as if he has nothing to do with anything but 1st loss on the season it was all Garrett. That is a complete joke.

He looked like a neutered cat on the sideline. Every time they showed him, he had a blank look on his face. I guess Jerry has taken all of his authority. He wore a headset, but I never saw him talking to anyone. He yelled at the refs a couple of times, that about all I saw him do. It would be nice to have a real head coach that can take over a game when he needs to.
Garrett is not a leader. He wants to be but he is not. When things go good he's the most energized guy on the sideline. When things go bad he's the lowest energy guy on the field. And the team is just like him. When things are going good the Cowboys sideline is like a wild party zone. When it's not the team is like they are at a wake. We need leaders on the sidelines like Staubach, Aikman, Irvin, Smith, Haley, Woodson. I see no leaders on this team when things go bad. All of them are like Garrett. They go into a shell and mostly disappear. And no one can say I'm changing my tune. I said from the get go the first 3 games are JV. The fourth game will be our first Varsity one. I think we just need a great leader on this team. And until we get one. We'll always be average. Whether it be a head coach or a great player on this team that will lead. A leader is needed. Like Ray Lewis when he played for the Ravens. Somebody has to set the tone. Somebody has to pick the team up when things aren't working..

Dak was good enough to win last night. There was literally zero help from anyone on offense. Looked like Dak was trying to drag everyone to the win.
No he really didn't, and they didn't but the NO D played lights out no reason for folk to jump off the bridge yet.

This is CowboysZone! We have to keep the conversation as dumbed down as possible.

We do that by choosing someone we don't like in the organization and blaming the loss on them.

Exactly. Some morons have to feel like it's Garretts fault that our offense sucked last night just to get them through the week. If that's all there miserable lives have...let em have it.

My question is, who kidnapped Kellen Moore and replaced him with Scott Linehan?

The offense played the entire game not to lose, but here we are...

it seemed like the product of misfortune. we were rarely in an advantageous situation what with the fumbles, penalties, and being pinned deep. so it seemed like kellen was trying to get breathing room in order to open things up. unfortunately it just never quite happened

There are plenty of fair complaints about Garrett, but I'm not sure this is one of them. How does a coach simply "take over the game"? Demote the offensive or defensive coordinator on the spot, scrap the game plan, and start calling plays himself? Belichick doesn't do a lot of talking to people on the sidelines either. At least not that we see. Who knows what is happening between possessions or between plays or during timeouts.
Moore is a rookie, a good HC would take over playcalling or at least dictate the pace of the game. I dont think Garrett could do that, even if he wanted to.

Right, b/c praising the folks who sucked last night is a sure sign of intelligence.

What are you talking about? He had more authority over this game than any this season.

He was mad because his gameplan was garbage and he probably knew it.

How do you know that he had more authority?

Wait I thought we lost because of Garrett. That's what so many people keep saying.

He should have done something about it then. Any HC worth a flip would have. Thats my point.

I can’t wait until the day is here that this clown is no longer our coach.
