For those saying good game defense

Our best defense last night came by the refs. IMO

Our defense never tightened up til the redzone and even then it relied on several holding calls on Saints online to kill their drives.

All i am saying is dline is weak at the point of attack and it showed. Need to be more aggressive and tighten up against the run. The confusion saints played and the ability of Kamara was killing our defense.

Been playing that style of D for quiet a while. It works pretty well when your offense can score more than a dozen points.

Cowboy fans will only focus on the bad calls that went against us, but they had a number of calls that went against them.

I agree. On a night where the offense could only muster 10 points and fumbled twice, the defense is far down the ‘blame list’.

To those of you complaining about the defense on the final drive … didn't the defense get the ball back to the offense with plenty of time to drive the field and get into field goal range?

As frustrating as the defense was to watch at times, I don't think they deserve as much of the blame as other components of the team for this particular loss.

The defense was on the field way too long and still only gave up 12 pts. They were clearly exhausted by the end, and yet still managed to knock NO out of field goal range.

Talk about their flaws all you want, but this loss is on the offense 100%. If your defense only gives up 12, then the offense better win that game for their team.

We go down to score a go-ahead Td and they let Bridgewater dink and dunk down the field for what was the game winning field goal.

The philosophy we have on defense is trash

Need a true 1T to anchor at the point of attack and force the runner or the QB to adjust their plan. Haven't had a true 1T since 2006 and it's shown in our run defense (most of the time) in the last 13 years against the better runningbacks. The few times it hasn't our linebackers and safeties have had superhero efforts.

Exactly! They're going to have games like this. Look at the Pats vs Buffalo. Allen tossed 3 picks alone. They had so many chances to lock that game in but decided to keep the Pats in it. Brady tossed for only 150 yds with no TD's and one pick. QB's are going to have bad games, the GOAT proved that.

There were several low scoring games. Some of our fan base needs to chill and stop wanting undefeated seasons for Dallas.

I'm convinced that a lot of football fans don't watch, nor are concerned with what 90% of subject matter that pertains to anything but their own team.

Bit of a ramble..but there were several good teams that played very poorly yesterday and almost lost. It happens.

While we're at it, let's throw some blame at Special Teams too. Good field position given up and missing the ability to pin a team down behind the 15 in crunch time, it could have been huge.

It's a team sport, the entire team gets blamed.

It's just frustrating when our defense plays arguably their best game of the season against someone who isn't inept at QB, and our offense couldn't string together another decent drive to win the ball game.

you act like they got ran over. kamara had 69 yards on 4.1 ypc. the team as a whole had 117. there were like two solid runs, the 12 yard carry from kamara that was followed by the 16 yarder from taysom. that's really it.

Sometimes kids just need a Capri-Sun and take a nap.

They didn't accidentally not give up a Touchdown..

The bend don't break is frustrating at times but the reality is they gave up 12 points on the road. Great game by them.

I understand on paper it looked pretty good but watching the game, we looked lost til redzone. I guess I wish we had a more aggressive championship style defense.
