This would be clever if you know the defenses faced were comparable


Qb1 faced a top 3 defense that is giving up 280 yards per game

Qb2 faced a bottom 3 defense that was giving up over 430 yards per game

Not clever but facts. What QB was 20-36, 56%, 250 yds, 1 TD, and 2 Int on the Bills the week before? Who was the Head Coach of this QB team? That team is 0-3. So are the Bills that darn good?

Hint to the QB?: THE RED RIFLE.

You are just way off base and wrong. Dak Prescott was the QB of the losing team but not the main reason for the lost...this time.

Dude what are you even arguing


Dak was trash this game. His unit scored 10 points against a bottom 5 defense. He got outplayed by a backup qb. Stop trying to spin this.

Im not quiet at all. Just didnt see this thread lol. I still believe in Dak. The team as a whole played horrible last night. The biggest culprit was going away from what worked for 3 weeks and resorting back to our playbook from last season.

You forgot the excuse of the refs favoring the Saints, when the Cowboys had 2 penalties to the Saints 6 going into the half.

BTW, Dak was reflecting his bad tendencies at a minimum last week. He was 9-21 going into the half against Miami.

It was the third quarter, like this game, where the Cowboys and Dak successfully moved the ball. It was this week when Moore upped their tempo and pretty much had Dak decisive in wear he was going, to get the ball out quickly, that Dak had success. Moore went up-tempo early against the Giants as well, after Dak was throwing passes behind the WRs.

Again, it’s ultimately going to come down to Dak being able to go through his progressions and challenging coverages to force defenses to back off.

Dak in this game, in the last half of the fourth, sailed the pass behind Cobb and if Cooper, which on the comeback route, didn’t get his hand in there, Lattimore would have had a pick.

I have not been on this message boards that long. But based on the posts I have made I would probably be labeled as a Dak Hater. Last night Dak played fairly well. Was he perfect? No. The first 3 games were against teams that are a complete joke. Without Brees the Saints are average. But it was a road game and the Saints were fired up.

If you give Dak all day to throw his mechanics are good his throws are accurate and he is a very good QB. And if you have his WR's wide open as well.

This year he has gotten better. His mechanics are better. He is planting more and letting the ball rip. He has more velocity on his throws. He is going thru his reads better. He is seeing the field a little bit better. The game is slowing down a bit for him... all of this is greatly helped by up until last night he had all day to throw and no defender's were even getting anywhere near him. Wide open passing lanes with wide open WR's.

In addition some other Dak positives are his ability to run the ball which opens up everything for everybody else. And no one to this point can question his durability.

The negatives are can Dak carry a team by himself. I do not think he can. And in the 4 seasons of watching him play the evidence so far is that he can't carry a team by himself. Brady can. Rodgers can. Brees can. Maybe in time Dak can.

I do not think any true Cowboy fan roots against Dak. We all should want him to succeed. I rooted for Bledsoe. I rooted for Romo. And I will continue to root & hope that Dak can keep making improvements. This loss was not on Dak..... just like the 3 wins in the first 3 games was not because Dak is an MVP player..... although that was the narrative being pushed.

I have nothing against Dak, I’m still on the fence with him but anyone who doesn’t take into consideration the competition, or lack thereof, is an idiot. I think we have a very good team but it still blows my mind how many people were crowning this team after beating the worst teams in the league.
