That tells a big story there but there were a lot more plays than those.

Was Dak to blame for not getting out of these plays - crowd noise could play a big factor here as well

This is a big part of it but there are ways around crowed noise. You can go with site reads. If you see this, then WR xyz adjust to this and the QB throws this etc. This is all about adjustments. If the defense adjusts to stop the site read, that's when you beat them over the top for 6. I mean, this is how experienced QBs and OCs make defenses pay for the decisions they make. You wanna load the box, chew a little bit of this. You wanna try and use crowd noise, we got this for you. You wanna jump routes, how you like me for 6? That's how football works, or at least that's how I've always seen it work.

That's the game of Football.

So I agree in principle that we should have thrown more, especially on first downs, but shouldn't the Cowboys in 11 personnel be able to run against a 7 man box?

Run to what, for what? I mean, yeah, you can get 3 yards on 1st if it's blocked well but what you want is to be in 2nd and 5 rather then 2nd and 7 or 8. Make them do what they don't want to do. Make them defend what they are not good at or not suited to, personnel wise. That's the way to beat a good defense.

Where was Kitna? It looked like he had on a headset sitting in the booth. Was anybody on the sideline coaching Dak and helping him breakdown the D? All I saw was shots of Drew on the sideline.

We aren't going to know exactly who is at fault on this. This is why HCs should be accountable for the play of the team. If it's on the QB, then fix it. If it's on the OC, then fix it. If it's on the HC, then find a HC that can fix these problems.

Very Interesting stuff. It looks like the offensive coaches has some additional work to do.

I mentioned in the game thread that there is probably a tell in offense on run plays. Their defenders were coming down hill as soon as we snapped the ball on run plays. It was evident by the second half they knew what was coming. This goes back to us having an inferior head coach who never considers the details. They need to do some self-scouting and figure out what is causing them to tip their hand.

My take is to go 4 wide-outs whether it's receivers or adding tight end and Pollard. It's not physics here.....On our Oline. Unfortunately if you sometimes punch them in the mouth? They'll whither like a rose in winter. Hate to say it but if we're gonna start lying to each other in here...LOL

Dak passed 33 times, the most he has passed all year and this was a low scoring game. And the Saints actually had a lot of clock-consuming drives. The number of pass attempts was not the issue.

Dak’s biggest success came on the up-tempo drive in the third.

So, Dak should of audible more is what Jeff is inferring in the first tweet.

Yeah right it is Dak’s fault. Maybe the offensive genius including the HC should have seen the stacked box and tried to get the ball to Zeke in the flat rather than pounding it between the tackles every run. Very Linehan.
