i guess i was thinking of the Pats..usually once a year or two they put up a clunker only to come back next week on a vengeance?
After twenty years and a season without Brady I’d say their consistency comes from coaching.

Constantly changing strategy to suit their team and to take away what the opposition’s strength is.

3-4 to 4-3. Heavy Run offense to spread. Whatever it takes year to year game to game.

I am still confident in our team. The Saints didn't exactly wipe the floor with us. Our defense played well in that loss. The offense got a kick in the butt. I see us coming firing out on all cylinders if our line holds up. I think this team and coaching staff is sick of the Packers snatching wins from us albeit by crafty quarterbacking from Rodgers.

Perfectly confident. We just dispatched the Seahawks last season in a game where their fans were probably complaining they were out coached.

We’re a better team than both the Rams and the Seahawks. I hate that our fans roll over and play dead after close road losses to good teams.
I dont see that! The Rams are the better team. The Cowboys were lucky to squeak by the Seahawks last year. Had the Seahawks turned Russell Wilson loose when Dallas shut down Carson the Cowboys would of lost. Dallas is a good team but they arent a battle tested team like the Rams and Seahawks.

Not just that, but they never let a player hold them hostage over $$. They are consistently winning with no-name players. Maybe l've just not been paying attention, but when's the last time they gave a player a 100 million dollar contact?

Look what we just paid for Lawrence and Zeke and consider we still have Cooper and Prescott waiting to get paid. Quinn is also a FA next year. Do you guys HONESTLY think Dallas can sustain a winning roster managing the cap like that? That's not even mentioning our OL. The window of opportunity here is going to be short lived and we're all hoping Garrett can get it done?

Please spare me the "go be a Pat's fan" comments. You have to be impressed at what they have done there...

This organization is doing things backwards. INstead of finding an elite QB and paying him they are surrounding a mediocre QB with talent and getting ready to pay this QB like he is elite. Big mistake!

So get rid of our talent. Then find a franchise QB.

I’m not sure how easy they are to find. Actually I am and it isn’t easy.

I think Dak will prove that he is a franchise QB. Let’s say you’re right and he isn’t. Wouldn’t your route take several years?

This organization has failed miserably when it comes to the cap. And you're right, l like Dak but making him the highest paid QB is going to be foolish, although with a good coach l can see him being a franchise QB...

How are you guys feeling about Garrett coaching against either of the coaches from tonight's game in a playoff game? Although l think the Seahawks are more lucky than good. Like Giants WR catching the ball against his helmet lucky...

Thoughts?

Jason G delegates everything.

He's not hands on.

You rarely see him talking into the command headset during the game.

He just listens.

Jerry Jones clearly held Kellen Moore responsible for the play calling vs. the Saints, by way of his saying exactly that after the game. The fact that he told Moore to report any attempt by Garrett to inform him of that situation, obviously indicates his inclination to make Moore solely responsible for the offense's failure to produce the desired effect.

Here's hoping that Moore wouldn't hesitate to relate any such of a problem in the foreseeable future. His job could very likely rest upon that condition being a major factor in retaining his employment as the Cowboys' OC. It seems obvious to me that this places Moore in what might easily be seen as a highly questionable and extremely awkward situation.

i am feeling more confident now against Pack on sunday....so much is riding on cowboys to really produce...we will see if they are a real good team or not....two clunkers in a row and you aint an elite team

Rodgers will put up a lot of yards vs our BBDB defense. Hopeful that our redzone D holds up.

If Packers use that pressure D on us, Dak will struggle. The Saints must have watched the Giants film from 2016/2017.

We have to go back to putting up points. If we get no pressure then they will put up points...

Confident. Absolutely. I just want our coaching staff to revisit the NFL clock stop rules.

Now that we offered a Hail Mary to a Saint; maybe Dak and his receivers will some luck like this:

After last week, I am going to be paranoid the rest of the season. When will we all of a sudden revert back to Garretts horrid, "play not to lose", "run the idiot up the middle all game", offense.

Personally, I wouldn't say/think we're better than the Rams until we show we're able to overcome our deficiencies that the Rams exposed last year. That's a huge hurdle that can't just be "confidenced" away

Garrett beat Carroll in the playoffs last season and he'd do it again this season. I think Garrett can beat Sean McVay as well.

Who can forget Garrett panicking in our last playoff game against the Packers? Stopping our momentum for the TD, and then bungling the play calling to give Rogers enough time and timeouts to win it with a FG.

I am straight up confidant we will WIN on Sunday...Rodgers is not the same QB he was 3 or 4 years back....he's still good, but his TEAM is not. Add in the new HC there and him and Rodgers aint exactly drinking margaritas at the post game shows...We will be 4-1 come Monday.

We can agree to disagree then. The Rams last year were a better team than they are this year so far, though. Did you see the Bucs game?

Depends on which Coach Garrett shows up that day.

If it's the get out of Moore's way and let him do his thing, I like the Cowboys chances.

If it's the one we saw last Sunday night, it will be a fight.

Do we know Garrett got in Moore's way Sunday night, or is it another of those things that has been said here so often it's being treated as factual?

That said, in general, I'm not big on JG matching wits with elite coaches despite his Princeton degree.
