I suggest you rewatch the saints game and you will see Dak stand tall in the pocket and take a huge hit as he delivers the ball. This stupid myth that Dak can't do stuff is getting out of hand.

I suggest you watch a Chiefs game and watch Mahomes do it 8 times a game. Yippy Ky yay

How low can the bar be lowered for routine plays?

Sooner the better.

Cap hit will go from $2M to $30M+.

If my calculations are correct, that's about $30M of less talent surrounding him each season.

Buckle up boys.

With a constantly rising cap, your math fails

"If they don’t do so before Sunday's game, Stephen says the Cowboys are “open for business” to continue talks during the season."

After reading the article and the above quote, it looks to me like this was written before the season opener.

I think you're correct. Look at this quote and the part I put in bold:

“We’re still holding out hope that we can figure out how to come up with a deal by the game on Sunday,'' said Jones on 105.3 The Fan on Friday at about 3:30 p.m.

Now, I've heard of Texas being the future and all, but time travel? LOL. For those who read this later and still believe the story, I posted this at 9:51am Central Time today. A heck of a lot earlier than 3:30 pm. Let's see how many posters race past our posts and go straight to airing their emotions about Dak getting paid.

Dak should be paid. It’s just a matter of how much and how long.

And are we paying him for how he performed in early games or against stiffer competition like in NO?

He looked like a MVP going 3-0 and an average QB Sun nite.

It’s like Jekyll and Hyde. Tough to determine how much we open the checkbook for.

Did anyone read the text? This was from before the season started and talked about signing Dak before Week 1. It also quoted Jerry Jones at 3:30 pm on Friday, and it's currently 10:15 am on Friday.

If they just wait he will be cheaper after the Packers game. Dak showed nothing against the Saints. Yes we all know Dallas couldnt run the ball but thats when your franchise QB has to find ways to make plays. Did you see Wilson last night take the snap and get back quickly and fire a 20 yd completion off his back foot as the pass rush was about to hit him. He didnt have the time to step into the throw. That is something Dak will never be able to do.

LLLOOOLLL, exactly what Damien Woody said yesterday. He said the D did there part and with no running game because of there DL, that when your QB leds you to victory and could not do it.

Of course, you could turn that around and also say that when the QB isn't having one of his best games (as happens to all QBs), that's when the balanced offense is supposed to pay off and the running game needs to take up the slack.

Answer: it's the Oline who determines if Dak and Zeke show up.
It might have more to do with how the defenses scheme us.

I’d imagine all teams attempt to stop or slow Elliott but not all are successful. The ones that are have an 8-1 record when holding Elliott under 75 yards.
