That sure sounds like we will be going for it on forth down for the rest of the season....Hell...why not? Nothing else has worked that this team has tried. Outside the box thinking...I like it Jerry!!!! :)

I guess we're supposed to feel guilty for not being satisfied with a kicker that even he can't trust. Ya gotta wonder if he stays up at night thinking this stuff up. Is he trying to divert our attention to something other than his team losing the last two games? Nice try, sir -- better luck next time! o_O

Yeah, he only missed the 57 yard field goal in that one, and the 60 yard kick glanced off the crossbar and through. The rest had a ton of leg and looked great to me. His kickoffs are usually very good as well. And, like I said, Jerry might just break into a new football market that has a league, but hasn't had much if any NFL endorsements. So, naturally Jerry can also see the business benefits here too. And this chap easily makes the 54 yards twice that Maher missed.

I like the way you think. I knew there was a reason I had you on follow.

Cheers. Cuz, the way I see it. Yamasaki has Jerry written all over him. Excellent kicker, possible big time Jersey sales in Japan with him being Japanese, and tons of other marketing campaigns that Jerry can do.

Just going to leave this video here for Jerry to have a look at.
lol @ Jerry Jones reading anything on CowboysZone. Jones’ narcissism compels him to randomly but also routinely call into a radio station.

Can anyone imagine how Jones would react if he DID read CowboysZone? The man would be a more prolific poster than @Risen Star lol! But with a LOT less style. ;):p

Wow.

Maher's feeling great right now, eh?

LOL
I have a feeling Maher will be looking for a job soon if he doesn't shape up.

If I were the coach, I would tell Maher that I still have confidence in him. Another bad game and his job will be on the line.

We had one, but our savvy management cut him because some guy from the CFL had a better camp.

Pretty much every good kicker has a rough patch. It's just how it is. Bailey is a good kicker and we were fools to cut him.

With Jerry thinking this, and for him to be willing to say this publicly, and assuming others share in this belief (as they should), I don't see how they can not tryout other kickers. At the very least Maher has to have a very short leash.

Jerruh also told us before the green bay game that Dak was more "akin" to a Tom Brady.... how's that working out for him? Look, that's NOT a hit on Dak, I just feel like they are trying to make him into something he's not. I look at Houston and Watson, and what O'Brien has done to force him to be something he's not either. Work on Dak's mechanics, but stop trying to make him into some 60 yard 1 pass TD machine... for petes sakes, RUN the ball, use the clock, has everyone taken a look at the TOP for the last 2 games? THAT combined with sloppy play, stupid play calling has cost us those 2 wins. You cannot find your arse in the 4th qtr down 3 scores, and a defense who can't stop a half a**ed RB and expect to come back and win... this team is clueless after a decent start. They better find it this week, because if they go up and lose to the Jets, this forum will self destruct!!

Maher needs to man up. He has ONE freaking job. He doesn't have to learn a playbook. He doesn't have to know blocking schemes, he has the cleanest uniform every game. He's kicking in an enclosed stadium.
