Who thinks the Cowboys can lose to the Jets?

Here is the irony ... I keep reading many replies and posts in threads stating this exact thing and some even stating / predicting a loss or ugly win .. so what people are actually thinking it won’t be close ? I believe those people you speak of are few and not the majority at all .. after two losses allot of the confidence in this team is lost ...after 20+ years of waiting for the other shoe to drop .. we are a fan base of here we go again .. it’s sad really ... almost pathetic ... it’s not a Dak thing or a Romo thing .. it’s just many have been molded to think the worst ... let’s face it .. if the cowboys just totally destroy the jets today .. the same fan base will simply say ... it’s the jets .. we shouldn’t be too excited and the eagles will destroy us ..
I am by no means this rose colored glasses fan but instead of asking can we lose :. I look forward to how we can win .. oh well
Here’s to a win
Go Cowboys on. 3
1,2,3 ... Go Cowboys :flagwave:
It's not that people think the worst its typical of Dallas to have a nasty loss to a team they should beat. See the Colts and Commanders last year and Denver, Atlanta and Chargers the year before. The Cowboys should beat the jets but just like you stated people will say it's the jets and that's exactly what they should say. I dont care about these crappy teams Dallas out talents. I want to see Dallas beat good teams and they have failed. The Saints without Brees and GB with Davante Adam's they didnt make excuses they came out and won. Dallas fans always talk about oh Tyron was out or Martin is injured or Frederick is out. I'm tired of excuses and Dallas needs to buck up and beat some decent teams or they dont deserve any respect in my book.

You are right!! With Garrett as our coach, it's always possible that we can lose to a horrible team. I agree with you 100% on this one.
So you don't think Jason is another Bill Belichick anymore? When did that happen?

BTW I saw one of those "What to look for" articles yesterday that predicted Jets 24; Cowboys 19.

IMO the probability is not zero.

You can see this coming. Sam rides into town. Dallas does nothing to put pressure on him. Williams dials it up vs Fleming. Bell a couple long scampers. Home crowd goes nuts. Cowboys fold in the second half. Excuses galore - like it was the Jets Super Bowl. Tough Road loss. It’s Dak’s fault. Blah blah blah...

We could definitely lose to the Jets. And it wouldn’t even surprise me with this group of underachievers coaches by a clown.

We can lose. Jets have talent (Anderson, Bell, Crowder) and the defense has performed well.

But for us to lose it’s going to have to be similar to the packers game. Penalties and turnovers

I can't fathom the Boys gagging it after two straight loses. It's time for some of our prima donnas to make some plays instead of worrying about their contracts.

Hopefully, this happens. I am certain Jerry will fire Garrett's *** asap.

This is not a long shot at all. The Jets will be fired up with a very good QB returning under center. Had he not had mono during the first game, they would have beat the Bills.

Literally one of the dumbest things I’ve ever seen posted on this site.
And that’s saying a lot.
How do you figure it's just an opinion it's like a horse everyone has one just like you

And you're reading way too much into that buddy

Actually, I’m not reading into it at all, pal.
I literally took the statement at face value, and simply pointed out the absurdity and foolishness of it.

Danny white just said Dallas will win 35-9 and then the rest of the cowboys gameday crew picked blowouts also.

I think it's very possible. Both our OTs aren't playing. Our defense is vulnerable. Our kicker is not consistent. It's on the road. Darnold may play a great game, get some favorable calls, etc. Of course we can lose. Nothing is certain when it comes to wins with this team.

I think we go out and play one of our best games this season. JG's neck is on the chopping block. He only coaches and game plans and prepares the team when he sniffs his immenient demise from the front office. This keeps happening every year. Coach when your life depends on it. Perhaps that throwing of the Challenge flag is the start of our run to the super bowl. JG certainly looked like a guy who had been bullied and pushed around to the point of finally fighting back!

I just know I'm feeling down about the Cowboys going into this game. Given their recent play, and now word that both starting tackles might miss the game, I don't feel good about this game. And since it's the winless Jets, even a win doesn't get them out of their funk. Hopefully, it's just my current mood and they show me that my fears are unfounded.

I don’t disagree nor do I agree 100% with what you said .. I think it’s naive to think that not every fan wants to see them beat better competition too ... now I don’t know how much “respect” is lost or gained because I am a fan of the team and I have seen this team beat many good to great teams over 40+ years ... some of those victories came in less than 8 win seasons .. not sure if I had anymore respect for the team if they beat an eventual super bowl champion in that season but went on to lose to teams who would be considered less than good teams ? As a fan I appreciate this team based on wins .. against any team with the ultimate goal of making the playoffs , then playoff wins then the ultimate prize .. of course we haven’t done the latter part in 20+ years ... so I am not necessarily in agreement with your notion that I give them respect for beating better talent ;.. they have to do more than just beat teams like that .. I mean you would have more respect of the cowboys if they beat the packers , Saints , Eagles , pats , rams etc but lost to the jets , Commanders , Giants etc and missed the playoffs ?

could easily be a trap game for Cowboys. Seems the D is taking things light according to Social media . Jets are playing for some self
respect at this point ..... those games can be dangerous not only for a loss ... but injuries as tempers flair
