Waiting for someone to say we should get the best college football team and sign them.

When he was magically awarded the LG spot without proving a darn thing. The fix was in from the beginning.

Who was on the roster that was better and healthy at that point? You do realize you can pay top ten money to every OL and expect to field a competitive team, right? There are teams all over the league winning with players not even as good as Williams.

No one is hyping him at all. That's silly. He takes as much, if not more heat than anyone else.

Quick question: Who is hyping him, let alone overhyping him?
The coaching staff. I've yet to see how he's won this job, anymore than Collins had beat Leary. Draft stock is still king in job placement unfortunately. I like the system where you earn Ur job.

The coaches are hyping him? Where? They mentioned in the preseason he looked bigger and better, and he is bigger and has been better. I didn't see any "hype" aside from coaches supporting their player. Do you guys want coaches throwing players under the bus?

They drafted another OG and made some other additions to the OL as well. He's playing because regardless of what fans who think they know football see, he's the best option.

Or do you really think the coaches would not play their best OG just because of his draft position? In which case, Trysten Hill says hi!

This is hyperbole.

And Conner doesn't? Leonard Williams was literally killing our QB. The penalties alone should get him a seat.

If Freebeard and Williams weren't doubling Leonard Williams every play, that's a failure by the coaches. That's literally the Cs job.

T.Hill is a good pick, his skill set would stand out if he had true NT that could play next to him. Panthers drafted Star Loutelei & Kawaan Short back to back that took their defense from #20 to top 10 for 5+ yrs.
ok....I’m back had to go to SF. Hill is a good pick? You just laid out one reason why he’s not. My reason is he just not very good. I’ve seen his tape...a total Rod guy.. High motor who spins his wheels and over-pursues out of plays. Maybe under another DC. He won’t be anything you haven’t seen here before with Rod but the point is they needed someone now. He’s a project who can’t play because Helam flat said he’s nowhere near strong enough to compete yet.. How’s that a good pick for this team? Wouldn’t you pick the DT we need, then add the Collins players next to them? See....they keep doing it backwards.

He wasn't as good as sua, when sua came in and replaced him, and the coaches have sua, zero chance of taking the job. That's what I call coach hype when they talk about his weight strength gains,. Along with the reports from reporters in off season. But, for all I heard from camp,. I haven't seen what they've seen, other than he does appear a little stronger, but not near enough for a guard. He needs to slide over to tackle where he belongs. I miss the days where we had guards that could actually move a nt off his spot. What we have is a bunch of good athletes that can't produce the power they need in any short yardage situations, but just blocking angles. Our offensive line is not the best in the NFL and hadn't been near for the last three years imo.

He’s ok at best. He’s not gonna be a beast.....maybe I’ll be proven wrong in like 2-3 years.

He's definitely not a guard. Once again we try to fit a square peg into a round hole. He's a tackle.
