You know, the officiating in the NFL reminds me of Spaceballs. The scene I'm talking about? Dark Helmet saying "I'm surrounded by..."

The flags have a lamination-type coating so they don’t get gross during rainy games. They don’t soak up water.

Every game in the NFL has bad calls, the difference is the good teams overcome them and bad teams use them as excuses.

Yes, we got robbed on the Witten TD but we also got some calls as well.

We lost because of poor execution, dropped passes, illegal formations, missed FGs, missed blocks, and no pass rush. We did not lose because of the officiating. I repeat, we did not lose because of the officiating.

The only people saying we did are the homers who would rather believe there is some great conspiracy that causes us to lose because they dont want to accept the fact that maybe this team is just not that good.

Then there are the people that:
1)Believe there are many factors involved, and that one or two plays can change an outcome. We lost because of everything you listed AND because of officiating.
2)It’s only a game, and we have no affect on it whatsoever.
3)Smacktalk is for morons, and anything is possible.

Demarcus Lawrence.........How about that return on investment huh?

He is on a milk carton. And if he really is getting double teamed on every play someone is running free every play. So what gives? Lol

You should read the number of articles out there assessing the Patriots deflating of their own balls and how it probabalistically minimized their turnover rate, especially in cold weather, which they're likely still doing.

Also, facts just mean what happens in Reality. It's a fact that I typed this right now. It's a fact that NFL is described "sports entertainment".

I can witness with my own eyes and see these things. I don't need to prove an opinion. And you don't need to believe my claim without an argument.

Thanks for differentiating your opinion from fact.

Yes. They all were very clearly legit calls. You didn’t see the Jets’ coaches not players complaining about any of them.

This is a touchy subject and many here clearly are triggered whenever bad calls are discussed. They immediately go to “that not why we lost”.

Fine. But it’s a factor and when a very poor call takes 4 points off the board and you lose by 2 it’s undeniable that it was a factor.

Because these soft brained theories are akin to flat-earthers just wanting to have “a real discussion.”

The league is calling lots of dumb penalties across the board (at one point they were up 50% from last year or something insane line that.)

However the Cowboys have also been self-defeating morons since like 1997 or something.

The Cowboys D-ends have one freakin move, outside shoulder technique and hope that they get by the tackle and that's it.

I don’t know about you guys but I am sick and tired of the anti Cowboys bias that we seem to get on a weekly basis. Dak was getting pile driven today over and over on late hits today. If that were Brady or Rodgers there would have been enough flags to soak up Lake Michigan.

It seems like every week we get some sort of phantom call that kills a critical drive. I’m just totally sick of it.

I'm sick of poor officiating too, but it's not confined to the Cowboys.

It's just really bad. I've never seen it anywhere near this bad. The NFL has a big problem.

Clown League.

Stop with the officiating B.S. We had our aces handed to us by one of the worst teams in the NFL.

But we didn’t! We lost by two, without starters at DT, LT, RT and Cobb at WR. Cooper and Jones exited shortly after. Take away 4 points with that BS pick penalty, then another 3 with the missed FG. Without Darnold, the Jets are somewhere between 27-32. With Darnold they’re probably somewhere between 16 and 25. Against a depleted Cowboys, with Garrett’s stubborn refusal to abandon the simplistic “I dare you to stop us” ideology of the 90’s, a loss doesn’t seem like much of a stretch.

If we don’t look much better against Philly, I’m for sticking Garrett on a Greyhound!

I've said that I would accept a bag of Doritos for Garrett at this point. Buying him a Greyhound ticket would cost too much.
