No, it isn't Wilson struggled to complete passes from the inside the pocket for most of his career. He finds other ways to make plays, but even in our playoff game last season most if not all his damage came when he improvised.

What the hell are you talking about? Wilson was ranked near the top throwing from the pocket LOL This was from all the way back in 2013. In 2015, he had a rating of 118.6 from the pocket.

You're lying through your teeth.

I disagree, he is a franchise QB, one that I will be angry if they let walk away. He is #1 in the NFL in QBR, has a high completion percentage and doesn't turn the ball over a lot. 1/2 his ints this year came on deflections off the hands of a WR. He is tough, a good leader and works to get better. If that isn't a franchise QB I dont know what is.
That’s cool we can agree to disagree but average Dak isn’t close to a franchise qb outside of jersey sales. I don’t give a expletive about qbr and other random made up stats. If half his deflections came from tipped balls that should tell you your franchise qb throwing too many inaccurate balls. If you keep messing up anything you will eventually pay for it more often than not. If you’re angry about letting Dak walk sadly you’re the equivalent of a guy that’s never dated a good looking girl and the first halfway decent one that goes on a date with you you’re in love. I’m waaaay past that.

All that bs at the end save that for the after school special get better not all this blah blah blah talk about he such a leader and all that other non on the field junk.

Agreed. Dak needs help as most QBs do.

No Coop, Cobb, Smith and Collins. You knew the game was over when Cooper went out
He also needs a coach not stuck in the pre-salary cap days when you could get away with just asking your team to out execute the other team

I don't think the oline is a mess. For backups, neither Fleming nor Knight are a mess. Knight has been good news, IMO. Should only improve going forward.

Tyron should be back next week. If Collins is still out, I'd play Knight over Fleming.

I assume you're counting Williams as a mess. I'm buying that. He's the worst of the starters. That alone doesn't mean he's a mess. Young guy, should improve too. Though I believe that he's more a T than a G. I wouldn't cry if they tried SuaFilo at LG. Or even if they rotated them. Same with Looney.

I think the oline has very good starters and impressive depth. Tyron's injury was more a fluke this year than a chronic issue. Bad news with COllins and Martin coming up with back issues too though.
Just looked rough vs. NY

Then you haven't watched many other QBs play. How is it possible for Dak to be one of the winningest QB since 2016 if he's played bad so often and other QBs hasn't?

It's not like he has had great defenses through out his career.

I'm thinking maybe having the leagues leading rusher 2 of his 3 years as starter may be a factor

Every position on the roster has been upgraded with 1st round draft picks. LB, D-line twice (plus paid one), secondary has Byron Jones and a couple decent guys that were borderline 1st round. Offensive lineman def has them, rb yep good there, wr made the trade for amari.......guess what position hasn’t been touched? Yep, your beloved golden child’s position hasn’t been. Ole #4. If anybody thinks he is getting a contract without a deep playoff run (which I doubt they even go to playoffs cause eagles are better than them. Hell I doubt they win more than 7 games to be honest)......but if anybody thinks Dak Prescott has $30million a year waiting on him you should prob find another team to root for because you are clueless about where and how the cowboys are and are not spending their money.

The dude can’t throw a 12 yard out route and you think they are going to pay him? Lol. They could pay a 1st round pick that actually has arm talent, 4 years of salary for what dak wants to get paid in one year. And dak sucks!

I’m tired of hearing about this dak is a leader crap. Dak has never led a football to anything important. A week 4-5 #1 ranking before playing bama is for the tv people to sell the game. That’s why miss st lost 2-3 more games after that. Dak is trash and we just gotta deal it with it this year.

Real cowboy fans will think big picture. Dak fans will think about dak. Figure out what you are fellas
Regardless of where Dak was drafted. He one of the least of our worries. You don’t see him getting drilled because the blocking isn’t very good. You don't See our soft D giving up a late FG which forces us to try the 2 point conversion after we score our last TD. So many issues besides Dak!!!!

You have to be an honest observer. How easy is it to catch a contested ball that behind, low or high above your head. Dak's accuracy was not very good yesterday.

So should every ball thrown be dead on accurate because if that's the case why bother having receivers?

Dak lovers disingenuous again. Who said every ball should be thrown dead on? Why do some of you guys come on here with nothing but emotions that make you look foolish. Again for the non smart football fans if you keep throwing the balls behind, too high, etc bad things like tipped balls are more likely to happen smh. This isn't hard to understand unless you're being emotional like too many get on these topics.

No it doesn’t. He’s between average and good, not elite. We have bigger issues...
Yes it does. If a QB isn't all world he's a problem esp if you're trying to get Dak money. There aren't many bigger issues than an average QB.

Teams win with average QB’s. And we haven’t paid Dak anything, you’re distracted with the wrong thing...

All World QB’s are very limited, name 5.

Dak is ok at his current salary but if you are going to pay a guy 30+ million a year he needs to be able to elevate the skill positions around him and he has never done that. We had open receivers but he just couldn't hit them. our receivers are having to work to hard to catch what should be an easy pass play.

Dak current salary might represent his true value but are we OK having him lead us to one FG after another FG?
I think NOT!
