How does this tailspin affect Dak's dreams of riches or highest-paid?

Only in Dallas would fans consider giving an above-average QB $100 million-plus.

How easily we settle for adequate, in this case QB.

Have you seen goff and Wentz? It isnt just Dallas its the market that said Im not convinced paying Dak more than those 2 is a good idea given the other holes you got. dallas bigger problem is the $ paid to others like Dlaw and Zeke

All I am saying, bloke is,
1. Yes, the FO is paying out the nose to DLaw and Zeke.
2. But dont compound the problem by paying Goff money to an average ruffian like Dak.
3. Our biggest systemic problem is being content to playing Romo ball (December fadeouts, 3-pix Sundays but with great stats), failing in the playoffs, being satisfied with 8-8 or 9-7 and then picking 15 in he draft. That is a recipe for a quarter century of mediocrity. I want the Jimmy Johnson recipe for greatness but someone left the cake out in the rain. And we can never get that recipe again, oh no.

I can't help but think that Dak might have been better off accepting that so-called "very generous offer" that was proposed several months ago. The rest of the Cowboys' schedule isn't one that's highly conducive to granting his wish for a $40-million level of contract. That'll present an enormous challenge!

your not wrong. I dont think as lowly as of dak as you do but the recipe you seek is a tank season like 89. not sure i want to go through that again

Well right now as we speak we have 3 teams starting undrafted rookies at QB and winning. It's not pretty but neither is our expensive offense. The key is having a defense that can keep you in games.

Don't think it impacts him at all. If anyone is putting a positive spin on any of this, Jerruh is. I am curious if he plays better when contract talks are put to rest.

Blokes, is Jerry ready to still shower Dak with $100 million?

I'd say Dak has been better than average even in a 3-game free fall. But holy pie and mash! Being better than average does not or should not qualify for mega riches!

Any news on Dak's pending contract????
What is your take, ruffians, on Dak's value as of today?

#1 in QBR, #3 in passing Yards, #3 in TD's, ect….ect……….. Even at 3-3 Dak is the best player on the team and moving up the QB list. Certainly in the top 10 now.

He also said quite plainly that he doesn't believe he should be the highest QB in the NFL. So you are misinformed as usual.

Reports say he makes at least 50 mil off endorsements so I don't think he's hurting for money

But you can't blame the guy or anybody else in the NFL for going after money if someone else is getting it? Personally I think they're all overpaid

Dak’s value is the same as it was before the season. Right around what Goff and Wentz got paid.

Dak’s record is the same as theirs and he has played just as well as them.

His value hasn’t changed at all. IMO.

I do think dak still has some leverage in the situation. And I think the floor is still unfortunately 30 mil.

he was betting on himself that if he won he’d get 40-50 million.

personally I’d either franchise him or let him test FA. Idk who’s gonna sign him for the money he wants.

No, I am pretty sure I ask seeing a posturing QB not helping us to score more than the Saints, the Pack and the JETS!!!!
Mediocrity our old friend, we've come to to tslk to you again.

Talk hardy, mate, after we play the Egirls.
