not that he even deserves a good one, but...

That about all that any of us can ask, deserve it or not -- a peaceful place to rest when it's over! I'll wish him well, though.

I don't know if our backs are against the wall. But this Sunday night game is going to tell me everything I need to know. If we can't get up for this from first snap to last snap. Something bigger going on that we don't know about.
You don't have a freaking clue about me. But you are agenda shines through. That's the difference I don't judge and I don't have one this team has won more Primetime games the last three seasons than any other team in the league. Against greater odds. Chew on thatIf you don’t ‘know’ after 9 years, you’re gonna ‘know’ after Sunday
you’re in cowboy homer survival mode “I’m not gonna accept reality until it slaps me in the face 10 times”.
Can I make obscene phone calls using your name? Some already call me Idgit and hang up.
Consider the source. 'Coach Wannabe' is the last person whose opinion matters on the topic. And the very last person you would ever want to have coaching for you. It's all on the players and the coaches are perfect and free from any and all responsibility.
No accountability.

Yes my cowboy brother in the last 3 SeasonsThis team has won more prime time games than anyone? Is that really true?
Yes my cowboy brother in the last 3 Seasons
"How the players execute is a direct reflection on the coaches, and you have to just make sure, as a position group, coordinator, head coach, everybody who's involved in it, you have to make sure you're creating the right environment for them to take that work they do in practice to the game and execute it," Garrett said.
I found this quote in particular to be very interesting. Even the head coach understand this:
"How the players execute is a direct reflection on the coaches, and you have to just make sure, as a position group, coordinator, head coach, everybody who's involved in it, you have to make sure you're creating the right environment for them to take that work they do in practice to the game and execute it," Garrett said.
What it tells me. We usually play best under pressure I don't know what to expectGot a list of these prime time games relative to other teams?
I mean I guess it's possible we have more prime time wins but we also play on prime time more than most teams. So if we are 5-9 in prime time games the last three years and the Eagles are say, 4-1 in prime time games, is that really something we should be crowing about?
Again, I don't know the numbers, so I don't really know if having more prime time wins means something or is just a product of us probably playing more prime time games than almost every other team in the NFL.
Notice how JG never talks about having attack out opponents' weaknesses? It's always about our execution. Didn't win? Execute better.
He just doesn't get that execution is harder when you're predictable, no matter how many FIGHT t-shirts you wear in practice. We just do what we do.
Great post...This Philly game seems like the quintessential game Garrett pulls out of his *** whenever the vultures are circling, but something seems different about this season. This team almost feels soulless this year. I think Sunday is the beginning of the end for Garrett.

Well said ! lol I know he sandbagged wade.Agreed, there is some power struggle going on inside. The way Kellen was showcased in the league after the first three games, something had to spark something. Garrett is much better at jeopardizing someone's job than coaching football. I know this is speculation on my part, but the way the play calling has taken a turn back in to the Linehan era in the last three games, common sense dictates that something is up regardless of what Broaddus says.
no parcell quit because of his age man he was just too old to keep doing it.I disagree with Garrett how they execute is a reflection of their talent level and concentration. The best coach cannot increase the talent level of a player, he can help to max his strengths and minimize his weakness by putting him in best possible position to succeed but he can't make him execute beyond his talent level.
Drops and missed tackles are because of coaching? Every team practices the same proper tackling techniques, by league order, and every WR coach and OC will coach a receiver to look the ball into his hands and pull it into his body, the same for every WR in the league. They constantly remind them not to run with the ball before they catch it, every one of them.
Ya know the difference between when Garrett played and now when he coaches? Coaches can't do what they did back then, take players out and sit them on the bench for a drop or missed tackle or penalty, they don't have backup and it jeopardizes the team to try and teach the player a lesson. In college, they can still do that.
Do you think that Parcells didn't hammer his OL for false starts, you could see it in his face on the sideline. That was one of things that told him it was time to hang it up. It changed to a players' league some time back and it's not going back to a coach's league. There are not 32 quality players at any position in the NFL.
And Mike Leach might disagree with Garrett. His fat, lazy, entitled stupid players reflected on their coaches better after his call out.
