Time to test the theory

Although this one is already a little flawed, because KC had lost two games at home before thumping the Broncos last night, Mahomes is going to be out 4-6 weeks. Reid has been pretty good at coaching his teams thru injury, but we all know that Matt Moore is nowhere near Mahomes talent. So, if Reid and his staff are able to pull off some impressive wins without Mahomes, will Jones take notice and realize that Garrett just doesn't have "IT" ?

He won’t notice. This team has yet to reach a NFC championship with two groups of “trios/triplets” to make it happen and Garrett fails time and time again. You’re really giving Jerry Jones too much credit for his “smartness”.

I was shocked they won the thur nite game, so that is one win already!
I will also say reid and the chiefs were stupid to play mahomes that nite because he was already hurting and should have sat out.
Playing on the hurt knee just made it worse.
Mahomes got his leg bent bad the previous game, on a sack.
KC could have beat denver without mahomes, and better to have him sit out a game or 2 than to risk a more serious injury.

Now will jerry and his boy notice? I doubt it and even if they do, they think they can win with any coach so why not one they like?

The jones boys dont use logic, they use a special jones theory on running a team lol

As the old saying goes, hind-sights 20-20. I agree with you, but Reid was probably feeling a little pressure and didn't want to drop three straight. I'm sure Mahomes assured him he could go though...

This is a very valid question.

Yeah but the player always wants to play, and that is where the HC has to look at the big picture and say no your going to sit out 2 weeks.
Mahomes is the one player I would want to take care of physically speaking because he is so good, I would want him never to be out for extended period.

Only thing Jerry is going to notice watching KC is to tell JG not to let Dak run a QB sneak.

Garrett lovers will point out that Garrett went 13-3 with a rookie backup when Romo got hurt 4 years ago.

It was not Garrett , OL and Zeke , enabling QB to have a running game and only needed to take a few shots , Dak-1st year was OL keeping him clean and gave him confidence

So you aren't a Garrett lover.

But it wasn't his knee that was hurt prior to last night, it was his ankle. And l'm sure Reid conferred with the team doctor before giving Mahomes the green light...

Well I think he had a prior ankle injury, but also when he was sacked if you look at the play in slow mo, his leg sort of bends, and that could damage knee
ligaments too. It just wont show up till later.
The play that took him out in denver game was a QB sneak, and I didnt see it, but it seems to me he could only make a previous injury worse, not incur
a new one on a QB sneak.
They also sometimes lie about injurys, or keep them secret.

I mean his team managed to score 17 points after he left the game.

Um the defense did this...against one of the worst olines and a immobile qb.. they teed off I watched it one was a 7 yard fumble 6 return and then another short field on another fumble etc.. they and that game in hand and really Denver wasn't much to get past in game up already..

what i dont like is teams like G and other NFC teams that effect us that play KC get to do so without Mahomes.. thats the way it goes, like philly getting bad Jets with a PS QB and we get Sam Darnold..

thats the first thing I thought was pahck!! just our luck

No, Jerry will not admit it even if he does notice. He already has his twisted ways to justify extending Garrett.
We are Doomed...still...
