Stand Meyer & Garrett side by side & ask yourself which is most likely to get the 'Boys to another level.
No contest.
Even if he doesn’t at least we’d have hope to turn this circus around. Just going in a different direction should create optimism. The status quo has got fans so down on this organization as well they should be. Please give me a reason to get back to the passion I’ve had for this team for so long!

I’d take Meyer as the HC in Dallas in a heartbeat. A heartbeat.

He is made to be a HC and run the show. Good Lord he’d be so good in Dallas.

You know Elliott would endorse him wholeheartedly. Zeke went to OSU 100% because of Meyer. If Jerry asks his opinion, we know what he’ll say.
That's a really good point.

If it wasn't news on the national level before, it is now. Other words, they're lining up........

Many coaches would never comment publicly about a job that is currently filled by someone else. Urban Meyer is not one of those coaches.

Appearing Friday on Colin Cowherd’s radio show, Meyer made it clear that he’s interested in the Cowboys job.

“That’s New York Yankees, that’s the Dallas Cowboys,” Meyer initially said regarding the question of whether Oklahoma coach Lincoln Riley would or should want the job, via Jon Machota of ***BLOCKED***. “That’s the one. Great city. They got Dak Prescott, Zeke Elliott. You got a loaded team. And I can’t speak for him obviously, I hate to even speculate because I don’t know him, that’s really not fair, but to me, that’s the one job in professional football that you say, ‘I got to go do that.'”

Regardless of whether Riley would want the job, it’s clear that Meyer would

Ohio State enjoyed top recruiting classes his entire tenure. Given that he performed just about where he should have.

No more puppets, no more on-the-job training, & no more clapping.

Get a proven winner who raises trophies.

Yes but would it be like a JJ and Tuna show or like the others with old jerrah? The latter I want no parts of. I want it to where old jerrah is not the lead.

I take him in a second. He’s who I wanted when I thought Garrett should’ve been let go 6 times.

...and use it as leverage to get back to another college. No thanks. The dude shows no loyalty.

A common saying is that qualified coaches would not pander to Jerry Jones' managership. Whether that is truth or myth, many coaches have not been outspoken about the allure of the Dallas Cowboys head coaching position. Meyer's comments, along with Bill Parcells actual employment in the past, may erode that common perception. On the other hand, it will be interesting which candidate (along with their actual qualifications) Jones may target in reality.
