News: Jerry: Cowboys will better utilize Bennett than Patriots

He is probably about to be suspended for PEDS and Jerry does not know it yet.

Hard to watch the tape and not get excited. Especially from the DT spot, dude just blows up guards. They’re just not capable of handling the moves he puts on them.

I’m trying not to let my expectations get out of whack, but I can’t wait for the first third and long when we have Tank, Collins, Bennett and Quinn out there.

This should have a domino effect of creating a lot more pressure, thus forcing bad throws and creating more turnovers.

Dang bye week!! And we have to wait until next Monday too!!
That's okay. Gives him more time to develop a rapport with his teammates.

He's actually a move that the team hasn't made in recent memory. Usually, they like what they have and they don't want progress stoppers.
Have to actually have progress before someone can be a progress stopper :D

Unless I read it wrong, Jones didn't say "better," he said "more." Big difference in my opinion. Our scheme allows his skill set to be on the field more often. The title doesn't reflect what was said or meant.

Throwing shade at the Pats coaches before our big game with them is tight

Sure. If there is one thing we know it’s that Red is smarter than Belichick

Agian. Great pickup. He can only help.

I don’t understand how some are unhappy about obtaining a vet for next to nothing that is self motivated, produces consistently, and can play multiple positions of need.

a few years ago many of the same are upset we didn’t get him then, now they are upset we got him.
Because they are not happy with anything this team does. They only want to complain even if it means contradicting themselves.

I was wondering did anyone remember that lol. This place went nuts when the Eagirls got him lol.

Yep. One of the game's greatest defensive minds of all time couldn't use him, but our group of geniuses will.

Okay.

Bennett was playing for a team that is undefeated and the defense is one of the best in the league. Yet, he was acting out over “how he was used” or “lack of snaps”. That tells me that it was 100% about him and not the team.

Meaning it was just pure selfishness.

They never planned for Austin to get extensive touches, but he is a great low cost utility player and backup WR.

They use Austin on fake actions (jet sweep, reverse, etc.) about 10 times for every 1 that he actually touches the ball which would be about 90 fakes with him.

They didn't *talk* about Austin as a low cost utility player. "Web back! Web back! Woohoo! Watch out!" The stated plan was for significant touches.

And given his production when given the ball, he should get more snaps. Basic optimization in game theory for the fakes. If he gets 10 yards a handoff, and Zeke gets 5, more of those fakes to Austin should be handoffs to Austin until the yards per touch evens out, with Austin coming down and Zeke going up.

What did you think about Tavon on that TD last week? Bet you weren’t thinking he was a bad pick up then. :D
Quit putting other people's thoughts in my post. I never said he was a bad pickup. But when we was brought in they said he'll get his touches here and he wasn't being utilized correctly by the Rams.

So again stop putting other people's thoughts on my post.
