Would you rather have Elliott, or Aaron Jones GB rb?

No you brought up Murray, Howard, Connor, etc in your initial post. I have no interest in cherry picked Jones stats.

But I think we do agree now, Zeke has had one elite season.
I brought them up as examples as players that had 1 or 2 good/great seasons, but were not elite players. Right now, Jones isn't even at that level, he's only had a couple of great games.

I think those were good examples of that then, Zeke as well.

Well jones has a new hc, and in those 2 games he did really well , helped to win 2 games, so I would think he now has the
coaches looking at more ways to utilize him and more often.
I am curious to see how he does the rest of the season.

I never said jones was the better player , or the more durable player, or was elite, I just asked which one would you want right now.
Many seem to be obsessed with zeke, and blind to his flaws, and in awe of things like rushing champ, which is really a
meaningless title.
I'm not blinded by Zeke's flaws, but I'm not going to let 1 or 2 performances from a 3rd year player blind me from the rest of the work he's done either. The GB coaches have wanted to utilize him more, but he gets banged up quite a bit, limiting when they've been able to use him. He's a good RB, but he doesn't have the talent or durability that Zeke has and one prime time game doesn't change that.

Jones was a 5th round pick so packers are paying him peanuts, and of course our guy now gets
15 mil a year lol.
This guy Jones is impressive, In KC game last nite he was the difference, with 2 catches out of backfield
that he turned into long td runs.
Nobody could catch him.
As we saw against us, he can run thru the line and do the tough running too.
On top of that from what they said last nite , he is also a RKG type guy , no trouble off field, and highly motivated to be the best he can be.
So I for one would rather have him over elliot and it isnt even close.
He is a game changer and capable of big plays.

This is just for fun, as we are stuck with the feed me ewok boy (with the nose rings )
If he ain’t wearing #20 with Sanders on the back, I’m not even entertaining that idea.

Zeke.....you are the 2019 Fall Guy .....with Michael Bennett to join you soon. Jones of GB.....what about our very own Pollard that many want to anoint.....C'mon Man! It was obviously boring this weekend for this topic to surface.

I don't think one or the other should be the choice, but if we had RBBC I would definitely choose Jones/Williams or Pollard over Zeke.

@QuincyCarterEra in here making himself look foolish once again.

When will this nonsense end? Pollard or Zeke, Gurley or Zeke, Barkley or Zeke, Kamara or Zeke, McCaffery or Zeke, Mack or Zeke, etc. We get it, many of you don't like Zeke, but do you need to continually post your disdain?

The difference between Jones and Elliott is Rodgers prevents defenses from stacking the box. Jones is a very good back for sure but how would Zeke do if he were in GB where they love to throw to their RBs.

And in both those seasons he lead the league in touches, yet was only 2nd in scrimmage yards. Bit scrimmage yards doesnt really have anything to do with what I said. We were talking about elite seasons by players, Zeke's had one.

Don't think anyone would argue a season with averaging 4.1 yards per carry, or having more fumbles than rushing TDs are elite at all.

Zeke does not have as much passing yards as some. Those are mostly chunk yards that add to your total. If Zeke's not elite, there are no elite RBs in the NFL. Did you do a check on all RBs considered elite throughout the history of the NFL? I guarantee their numbers don't meet your lofty criteria.

Well as in my other post, it isnt about yards, it is about helping your team to win close games.
What did elliot do in the NO game which was close. what about the jets game?
Gb won because of the 2 long td runs by jones, I dont know how many yds he had, it does not matter.
Can he sustain it, I dont know, it really only matters for this season.
So far I can say he was main reason GB beat Dallas and KC, 2 good teams, and that is not something you can say about elliot.
If he can avoid injury, he will be a factor in playoffs I think, but you never know.

GB also has Rodgers at QB and he is the focus of other team’s defense!

Shows a lack of knowledge when comparing stats from players 2+ decades apart.

The top 10 rushers in 1995 averaged 4.0 yards per carry. This year? 4.9.

Adjust Elliott by .9 that's 3.6 yards per carry

Bulk stats like scrimmage yards shouldnt impress anyone, and doesn't make your elite that's for sure.

You might want to delete your post.

I won't delete my post. I have no reason to do so. You talking down to people shows that you really aren't confident in your stance.

I think Rodgers is a big part of that. as a DC facing the pack your entire focus is on Rodgers and the passing game. The run game becomes an after thought.

We overdrafted, and then now overpaid Elliott. No doubt. He’s a hell of a back, but RBs are top-100 pick commodities.
