America's Team. We always get everyone's best game

When you see a team that sucks (like the Jets) have a good game against the Cowboys you assume it's because they played harder, not that the Cowboys were ill-prepared or executed poorly.

When a team that beat GB (like the Eagles) comes in and gets hammered by the Cowboys , you assume it's because the Cowboys outplayed them.

I'm not assuming anything I'm saying we got their best game. They tried a little bit harder yes. Had nothing to do with the final score. But make no mistake about it we got their best game. And if you don't believe it that's fine you're welcome to your opinion. But I watch the game I saw how they played against us and I worked other games how they suck when it wasn't against us

If we haven’t been relevant, why are we still covered daily on sports shows? Why does such an irrelevant “laughingstock” still rule the ratings, have the largest fanbase, and remain the most valuable football team in the world? People don’t talk about irrelevant teams.

You're viewing games the way Garrett coaches. Assuming that the Cowboys simply do their thing every week and the wins and loses are determined entirely by the other team.

Shouldnt we be getting everyones best effort every week and giving ours? Are you saying they game plan better? They play harder? I totally disagree I don't think he's destroyed the integrity at all. If anything it continues. What he hasn't done is win. When it mattered most.

so you quote a guy that coached 30 years ago when Dallas was a perenial Super Bowl Contender. Do you think Buddy got pumped because Dallas was "Americas Team" or the fact he knew to be a champion he would have to beat the Champs. That was and is the same reason New England gets everybodys best shot now. Every one is a competitor and if you beat the best then you can claim you are the best. It has nothing to do with some Moniker from days gone by.

LMAO! I went to show my 16 year old son the Superbowls from the 90s. I was looking all over for DVDs and finally remember they were on VHS.

I can see the NYG coaching staff with the team right now. "OK, you guys, we're playing the Cowboys and this film will be reviewed as the best you can play and used toward future compensation and you injured guys, no excuses, grow new ligaments and tendons tonight, this is the damned Cowboys we're playing".

Does it really make those feel better after a loss and/or a poorly played game to really think that team played above their head just because they were playing the Cowboys? Then you must share the inflated view of this team with the owner. I must be seeing things because I can swear I've seen the Saints and Packers play better than they did against the Cowboys.

He was smart, he tapped into the feeling that already had and made them more of an enemy including dissing their HC when they changed. He stayed away from Landry but he went full on at Johnson.

Over the past 20 years the Cowboys have fewer playoff wins than Arizona, NYJ, Tampa, Jacksonville, Tennessee, and Minnesota. This team lives off its past. They have been bottom feeders for more than 2 decades. It’s a fact. Forbes franchise values are garbage for anyone other than the owners. Proof? The NY Knicks are the highest valued team in the NBA. They are the worst team in all of sports right now.

Do you realize 8/8 is actually new great. You know how many teams go to the Superbowl and you don't hear from them again for the next 3 to 4 years to be 8/8 as long as we have that was actually a great accomplishment. I've been saying this for quite some time finally news media is repeating it
