Why isn't Blake Jarwin Starting?

Um, no, it’s nonsense.

Jarwin has got 200 (literally) less offensive snaps than Witten, and 12 receptions to Witten’s 34; that’s proportional. So to ask “why isn’t he doing more” is plainly dumb, and frankly he’s got 3 TDs to Witten’s 2, so it could be asked why Witt isn’t doing more with his substantially more snaps?

Is it possible that there are only certain plays that cater to Jarwin's abilities?

Jarwin is much more dynamic getting down field and making big plays. Witten is a security blanket with a range of 7 yds. I actually blame the coaches for not having both on the field and using Blake more. Gallup has been stinking it up lately and Jarwin should be getting more targets.

Watching this video makes me think of another thing Witten does extremely well. When his QB is scrambling, you can count on him to come back to give him a target.
