you’re not going to get anywhere. Dak literally would have to complete passes into triple coverage all night long for him to get the credit and not have any of his good play the result of other players doing

when he had two safeties finally, he checked down to Zeke on fourth down...

who said that? What it means is that, defenses still don’t respect his arm despite him ‘throwing well’ and that too with WRs like Cooper and Gallup, with their speed.

Let’s give him all the credit, while bashing on Zeke, while totally ignoring who the Vikings are actually threatened by.
It doesn't mean they don't respect his arm. It just means they were more afraid of Zeke.

So it wasn’t Dak’s fault that he didn’t read the whole field and only took a glimpse at cooper than jumped to Zeke instead of reading Cobb wide open over the middle?

Cobb had to be his second read, he was right next to the 1st read(Cooper). He thought since it was zeke Guarded by a LB he would be open out of his break and he wasn’t.

You really want to blame this game on Dak? Stop it man, your making yourself look stupid.

See, as usual your genius logic totally ignores my point. My point is you want Dak to be perfect ALL THE TIME and when he isn't (in all of your objectiveness <sarcasm>) you go straight for "Dak sucks". It's your only argument that I ever see you post about. You are just a constant babbler with no real insight. Would love to see you get some.

No, that’s you adding to my point. I am criticizing the exaggeration in this thread stating Dak was “amazing” - I expect a franchise QB to not have a trend where he starts slowly. I expect a franchise QB with minutes left on the clock to go down and score the game winning TD if I want to call his performance “amazing”

I have no problem admitting Dak made some great throws tonight, just like I am honest enough to take into account all four quarters and tell you that Dak player poorly for 15 minutes and then played poorly in the clutch. 0 points in those moments - yeah, that’s a pretty big criticism from me and expectations I will hold a franchise QB to because i’m not a loser who accepts losing.

just stop. I don’t really care to hear your goalpost moving and twisting to how every success was because of everybody but the QB.

the Vikings dared Dak to beat them. The passing offense put up almost 400 yards and 3 touchdowns. Dak and the receivers did their jobs and did what they were supposed to do.

the defense and running game lost this game.

period. Any other argument is asinine and frankly stupid.

the what would have been pick 6 by the Vikings CB was clearly the Vikings CB fault, even though Dak’s throw was awful.. we can play that game all day..

Exactly. Thats why you have to look at the entire game to draw any conclusion with a bit of accuracy.

He said "all the time". This offense does start off slow much too often, but that's not always on Dak, and I don't know that it was tonight.

Nobody suggested it was only Dak. So the argument is moot, nor did I say a QB “always” has to. Again, you people are adding arguments not being made.

Dak is part of the problem with our slow starts. That is what I said and I mentioned the pattern.

I can’t believe there are actually people in this thread scavenging reasons to blame Dak. He did ABSOLUTELY NOTHING wrong tonight. This loss is 100% of defense and coaching. If you blame Dak for even 1% of this loss, you’re a dumb a-s that can’t be helped.

You obviously do, with your indirect addresses to my posts by saying if Dak threw into triple coverage they’d still blame him. But he doesn’t.

Dak checked down to Zeke plain and simply and had an RPO at the end, and when he had the chance he blew it because there were two safeties back there. He didn’t do what he was supposed to if the RG didn’t do what it was supposed to of them defense didn’t and do on.

And of course it’s an issue when people blame Zeke and make excuses like our defense sucks, or the OL is over/rated, when Dak has all day to throw.

so please spare me..

I'm pretty sure by your standards we've never had a real franchise QB. Roger Staubach, I got news for you, had many games just like Dak himself.....Start slow, play awesome in the second half, etc. MANY GAMES like that and sometimes he didnt win. Was he not a franchise QB either? I guess all is forgiven if the QB wins a Super Bowl, but until then, good gawd, he has a couple bad first quarters, he's not a franchise QB.. wahhhhhh!

You’re arguing that the Vikings dared Dak to beat them. Dak and the passing game then put up almost 400 yards and 3 touchdowns.

so the passing game was beating them. The running game and defense sucked all night.

it’s an asinine and dumb argument.

The Vikings strategy worked because our defense sucked and our running game couldn’t do anything.

How did they beat them when they lost? Dak checked down to Zeke on fourth down..

Any QB in the NFL with 10 seconds to throw against man coverage can pass for plenty of yardage.

There’s multiple things that can be attributed to the Loss but Dak & Coaching take majority of the heat as they should. The window for error in the NFL is miniscule.

If Dak make’s the right read and throws to Cobb and Cobb Walks into the Endzone he’s the Hero.

He makes the wrong read and gets batted down, and we lose.

Difference between a Great QB and a Good One.

Ignore the horrific performance by our defense and running game.......

I thought I made that clear in my post. Our passing game did what it was supposed to do. The rest of the team didn’t. Don’t play semantics now.
