That non-PI call was the play of the game

So Witten was tackled in the end zone and there was a no call.. that was the play of the game IMO with the feed to Zeke finnally. I know why we didn't challenge it, because the NFL puts in a rule and doesn't enforce it. I mean why put in a challenge rule and not call it fairly. Before someone says push off from Cooper, he broke away not pushed.

Well, we had all three TOs at that point. Seems like whatever the chances, you should at least put some pressure on the refs to overturn it with a challenge. Another coaching failure weighing risk vs. reward, IMHO.

It was very very clear. They “couldn’t” call it on a pro bowler because they already called on on him earlier.

Some will say we should’ve made this play that play, which is valid.

That doesn’t change the Fact is this was penalty that kept the game from being tied. It wasn’t incidental. It was light contact.

That was a make up call from that weak holding call they gave us when dak got sacked. I'm ok with it tbh. And no you do not challenge it. Close game you keep the timeouts.

Maybe, but its hard to get in the end zone too, as we found out later.

I agree, this one was kind of obvious. However, the refs are all over the place and with our luck we’d lose a timeout.

Because the defender was playing the ball, not Witten. He's allowed to do that. Had Witten not been there, it would have been an interception.
The Cowboys were gifted a first down early in that drive based on a bogus defensive holding call that was called. The drive would have ended right there if the official hadn't bailed them out.
Then Amari Cooper pushed off on his touchdown reception in the end zone- Offensive Pass Interference anywhere in the NFL-except last night.
The Cowboys can't complain about the refs. They are getting some generous calls.

No i agree 100%. We would have lost that challenge. The point im making is when everyone sees a blatent hold, and the NFL makes a new challenge option to help and doesn't trully enforce it.. then was it all show and politics?

Waste of a challenge and timeout. The refs are not going to overturn that.

Its all show and politics until they make the token call that ostensibly proves its not all show and politics. Seems like the game circumstances suggested it might be worth daring them to make that the token call.

We seem to have a new play in the Boise State playbook....the Witten PI play. Refs don't respect JWitt as much as the other team doesn't now. He is done and shameful to be out there like that. As far as the "He blocks better than Jarwin"....he is part of the run blocking that yielded Zeke/Pollard run game useless last night.

Jason does block better, but sometimes we need a Gronk type TE. I still believe in Witten.

Well, the coaches rendered Pollard useless by not giving him a touch until the 3rd quarter was about to expire and then making it a ridiculous play call to boot.
