He might not even make the pro-bowl....... (highest paid runningback with supposedly "worlds best offensive line" not making pro bowl would be embarrassing for the organization)

He is overpaid for how Garrett uses him. Turn him loose as a competent coach would and Zeke would be as good at RB as Amari is at WR.

For 3 scratch yards on every first down, Garrett just needs a body.

The jones boys caved and now here we are we have a RB that likes to trade jerseys with other players on teams that beat dallas, and has the atrocious nose rings!
He is still # 1 in partying during the week though, so there is that, he may make all pro in that area.

I think the Bettis comparison is more of a reflection of styles instead of insult (or at least I hope it isn't an insult)

That is an insult to Bettis actually. Bettis had open field speed and some moves. And he definitely broke lots of tackles. Bettis is a HOFer.

I'm going to go out on a limb and suggest that there's gonna be some form of Zeke Appreciation thread coming up soon.. I'm disappointed in the last game also but he's had stinkers before... where he's been shut down. Can't think of a great back who hasn't.

I've posted this in another thread.

What I noticed about him this year is that he doens't run as much to the outside when the middle is clogged. Instead, he tries to just plow through a small crease that will get him minimal gain.
Early in his career, he would bounce outside and out run the LB/Saftey to the side lines and turn the corner for a big gain. I haven't seen any of that this year.
Maybe he doesn't have confidence in his speed or his vision.

Could have used that money on 3-4 other really solid guys and gotten 2X the overall valued production.

Zeke looks like a glorified Troy Hambrick type these days.

Lots of people here like to blame it on the offensive line, and that they're not creating running lanes like in years past.

I say, a $90 million RB is supposed to be good enough to mask some of the offensive line's deficiencies.

Yrep. Im 2016 he had 51 yards on 20 rushes against the Giants. In 2017 he had 9 rushes for 8 yards against the Broncos. Last year he had 33 yards on 15 rushes against the Skins. None of these were defining games. They all proved to be a rare exception.

This is wise you don't pay BIG money the RBs because they get burned out ---FAST.
