It's amazing that when Dak's stats were poor people would say that he won the game and that is all that matters..... than when Dallas loses they point to Dak's stats. The Dak homers need to make up their mind.

Dallas wins- It is all to Dak's credit.

Dallas loses- It is all Garrett's fault. Taking it a step further.... Garrett must being calling the plays when the plays do not work. But when the play calling does work it was all Kellen Moore. The QB has the final say on EVERY play.

What are the Dak homers going to say & do when Dallas finishes 9-7? I guarantee you a lot of QB's would have put up more than 12 points against the Saints. A lot of QB's would not have been outplayed by Sam Darnold & lost to the Jets.

Overall Dak played good.... not great last night. Twice he threw it right too a Vikings player. But a loss is a loss sometimes the Defense is going to play poor. Sometimes it will be the QB.... you are who you are. 5-4 suggests slightly above average to me. 1-4 outside of the mighty NFC East suggests below average.

Poor Garrett. Sabotaged by nine years of poor QB play. :(

For all the Dak super homers... who I am starting to think are trolls and not real Cowboy fans. Have you guys watched the games? When Dak is making good plays it is usually always when receivers are WIDE WIDE open... we are not even talking college football open.... we are talking high school football open. And it also has to be when Dak has all day to throw slowly go through his reads and not be hurried and do crazy footwork. With this all being said..... a LOT of QB's could do the same thing.

Now all this being said Dak has improved. He has good running ability. And he is incredibly durable. If Dak can keep improving than hopefully Dallas can start winning again like they were in 2014 & 2016.

But every time Dak is missing even just ONE all pro he has looked awful and the Offense has struggled. A franchise QB elevates everyone's play around him... not the other way around.

Simple math when the Cowboys do pay Dak there will be a problem paying other good players. The system is not set up to pay 10 guys on the same team at or very near the top of their position. The Cowboys are already paying 6 or 7. Dak & Cooper will make it 8 or 9 already..... So the Cowboys will have to say goodbye to quite a few good players that they will not want to lose..... why do you think Jerry has not signed Dak yet??? Because he knows that to be the case.

For all the fans saying pay Dak.... are you really Cowboy fans.... you know exactly what will happen as a result..... Maybe Dak will improve enough to where the Cowboys can keep going 9-7.... Most true Cowboy fans want more than that.

You guys kill me. Do you just randomly make stuff up?

With the help of Next Gen Stats data brought to us by chips in every player's shoulder pads, we can now measure the best tight-window passers in the NFL. Using a composite score of several tight-window passing stats, we'll examine the top 10 players at the position when making such throws.

Here are the qualifiers for the rankings:

» Next Gen Stats defines a "tight-window throw" as a throw where the intended receiver had less than a yard of separation from the defender.

» The average quarterback threw 18.6 percent of his passes into a tight window over the last two seasons.

» Only quarterbacks with over 200 pass attempts and seven-plus games played in 2017 qualified for the list (35 total players).

» The ranking was established by the quarterbacks among the 35 qualifiers who had the best rankings in the following three categories:

-- Completion rate on tight-window throws.
-- Passer rating on tight-window throws.
-- Adjusted yards per attempt on tight-window throws.

Adjusted yards per attempt is an efficiency metric that takes the traditional yards-per-attempt model a step further by rewarding the passer for touchdowns and heavily penalizing for interceptions. It also correlates with wins on the team level.

The rankings were added together to create the composite score -- for example, a player who ranked second in completion rate, fifth in passer rating and first in adjusted yards per attempt would have a composite score of 8 -- with a lower score indicating better performance. It's impossible for any stat to completely negate the influence of a quarterback's surrounding cast and measure his pure ability, but using a composite score helped alleviate those issues to a manageable degree.

Guess who is number one? Dak Prescott.

Also, if what you say is true about cap management... why the hell did the Cowboys just extend Zeke for 90 million?

Dak is the best quarterback we've had since Romo. He sent Romo into retirement because of his good play. Now if we can get him some "real" coaches and coaching? The ceiling is the sky for this guy.

Another Dak groupie wasting time just wanting to seen
Deep down, I know it kills you that Dak is lapping you at life.

He’s ruining your entire experience as a Dallas Cowboys fan while enriching himself and his family with wealth you could only dream of.

I love it. Dak wins. His fans win. You lose.

If your profile is true, I was a Cowboy fan before you were even an itch in your Dad's pants or a twinkle in your Mom's eye there young pup. I've been a Cowboy fan longer than you have been alive. Hell, I was in the Army and served 2 combat tours before you even knew what the Dallas Cowboys were. LMAO..
Stalking profiles now? Don't matter how long you've been a fan you're now a Dak fan only so what you used to be has no bearing on what you currently are. Good for you another person who didn't know where to go after high school so they joined the service. Being old means nothing about you being a older Dak groupie which is worse.

actually feel bad for this guy, because he's balling. I know he cares. But you have people like Jaylon Smith, who's only in it for himself and gives really ****** effort, Dak should kick his ***.

I'm not the stupid person that posted a post that agreed with someone then tired to say they didn't know what they were talking about. That was your low football iq behind.
I'd rather have a low football I.Q than a low general I.Q like yourself. Einstein had a low football I.Q.

You didn't answer it because it makes you look like the fool you are and goes against the BS you're trying to pedal. Dak isn't my idol, but I know enough about football to know he isn't nearly as bad as you try to make him out to be.
The old saying is still true, when someone can't answer a question about, or defend something they have posted, they resort to name calling or cussing. Thanks for proving my point though. Amari is only as good as the QB throwing the ball to him.

There is an word missing at the end.

Yet.

All contract negotiations are composed of two parties. It is extremely likely Prescott is seeking contractual terms he finds most favorable to him. And his caution may not be strictly for monetary reasons.

Anticipate outcomes based on previously established events. Jerry Jones gets contracts done, especially for players he grades as franchise quarterbacks such as Aikman, Romo and Prescott.

Inevitably.

The dynamic all offseason seemed to be Dak almost stalking the Cowboys front office for a deal including submitting proposals, but getting little or no response. I remember getting a hard time on this forum for suggesting that the QB situation will not be looked at until its known who's coaching in 2020. Was told there was no way he'd be unsigned by the start of this season.

With a third of the salary cap going to a single player, I'm not sure how we're going to be able to build a team around him.

How many teams have won Super Bowls with $30+ million QB's? Seattle won when Wilson was making peanuts because they had the money to build a team around him. Once he was given his super, mega, uber, QB contract ... that ended that.

We will NEVER win a Super Bowl with one player eating that much of the cap.

How do we prove I have a low general iq and yours is also higher than mine? Is being a Dak fan equal to having a high iq? If that's the metric we are using guess I'm not as high iq as you are. Congrats on that

I could never look like a fool and answering a junk question sure can't do it. Dak does nothing special any average nfl QB couldn't do. If that makes me look like a fool to,you ok. It isn't like you're anyone worthy of impressing my man it is a messageboard. Y'all's emotions are leaking like a junk ford. How bad did I make him groupie? I've always said he's average so how bad is that really? Stop the madness.

Spare me the after school special bs about name calling and cussing in an informal setting. Dak is only as good as the all pro talent around him. Amari has put up numbers without Dak. You have no point about your idol

Wow, you should take English as a second language. Your sentence structure is atrocious. (Atrocious means extremely bad or, of a very poor quality ) As far as after high school, I had a scholarship to play football at NDSU. I hurt my knee, they pulled the scholarship, and I joined the Army to pay for my college. For the record, I served 22 years in the Army. I held ranks from Private all the way through Operations Sergeant Major. I served with the 82nd Airborne Division, the 101st Airborne Division, 7th Infantry Division, 25th Infantry Division, and 2nd 75th Rangers. I served through 3 combat tours, I'm Airborne, Air Assault, Pathfinder, Ranger, Sniper, and Combat Lifesaver qualified. I served 3 years as a Drill Sergeant, graduated from Primary Leadership Development Course, Basic Non-Commissioned Officers Course, Advanced Non-Commissioned Officers Course, First Sergeants School, Sergeant Majors Academy,Combat leaders Course, Infantry Leaders Course, and Jungle Expert School, as well as serving with the Multi-National Force of Observers in Sinai Egypt. I have 5 Meritorious Service Medals (signed by executive orders from the President of the United States), 4 Army Commendation Medals, 16 Army Achievement Medals and countless other accolades. My last assignment was as an ROTC Instructor at Capital University in Columbus Ohio where I trained future Army Leaders. So, I knew where to go after High School, and I've done things with my life. What have you done with yours?

PS. Don't hate on service members just because they had the balls to do something you didn't have the balls to do. It makes you look like the immature imbecile I'm sure you are.
