Bringing him in would have Jerry’s hands all over it. So far the season has been a disappointment but making such a signing would be just distracting enough for the masses and put the Cowboys right back into the thick of primetime conversation.

Not saying it will happen just that I wouldn’t be surprised if the showman pulled the trigger.

If we’re serious about this then I’d be down. He’d be a upgrade over Rush. We have no backup QB if Dak were to go down. That is if this guy could still play.

This would be the final nail in the coffin for me.

Why?

I don't want to get you in trouble, so if the answer is political then don't bother to respond.

However, if it's football related..I would love to hear your opinion as to why this would be the proverbial"straw that broke the Camel's back"

There's only one reason and he can't say it. Just like everyone else on this board who has a problem with him.

Meh. The follow-through rate for grandstanding is probably less than 25%. Reminds me of all those who swore off the NFL yet still show up in internet stories about NFL games to remind everyone they swore off the NFL ..... again.
It would be easy for me. The NFL is a bad product with snowflake rules and no soul anymore. Add this dog to the mix, and I'll just make money off my season tickets and find something else to do with my time.

What it means is that he didn't suck. I wish people would put their bias to the background and worry about the football player.
He didn't suck for a year or two. He was done as soon as Harbaugh left. The league caught up with him.

Well since he's ok with being a backup, we should have to worry because I'm sure he's better than White and Rush.

The reason for my post is I have seen you over the yearS threaten that you "just may" leave the NFL, and even extol the glory of soccer with its hard-hitting action as seen below. So if this is indeed the line in the sand that will be interesting to see. The point is moot though because this event is highly unlikely to happen. And so "just may" will continue.

All these NFL teams are gonna send their "scout" who is probably more like an intern just to say that they had someone in attendance. Then, they can say that they weren't impressed by his workout and can close the book on ever signing him so that they have a football reason not to.
