Umm, we repeatedly lose when the opposing defense shuts down zeke. See the new orleans game, the jets game and the vikings game.

They sure weren't "defending the pass" as Baldy says, at least not so much as doubling up on receivers. Just as an example, look at the first play Baldy talks about. There were only 6 men in the box, but then the LB or DB came running in from about 7 or 8 yards out. They don't have to be "in the box" to defend the run.

I'm not saying they sold out to stop the run, but I think they were more focused on that than the passing game.

And I think that if Zeke ran for 150, and Dak passed for 215 we'd be saying the opposite.

And that was the only play of the six with a defender crashing. The only one.

The fact is the DBs were just as worried about the guys in front of them, as the guys in the box were of Zeke.

I think it’s pretty obvious when I say “Dak was the only reason” that the guys catching his passes did a very good job as well.

Dalvin Cook broke tackle after tackle last night. Even when it looked like he’d be stuck for a loss or no gain.

Zeke didn’t break a single tackle or make one guy miss all night. He even had a few plays in space where he got tripped up by the 1st defender.

Sorry, but no, it wasn’t JUST the blocking.

Cook ran like a guy who’s trying to get paid, Zeke ran like a guy who’s already been paid.

It’s nice of you to defend Zeke.

I also think that you’re smart enough that if you had a shot at a re-do, you would NOT have paid Zeke what we paid him. RBs are rarely worth that kind of big-money deal and Zeke’s no exception.

Oh, he’s also dumb as rocks with his off-field decision-making. There’s that too. Amazingly, we rewarded him for that. Nobody would be surprised by a “BREAKING NEWS: Zeke arrested for ___” headline.

I'm very disappointed in Zeke. Not only did he not break a tackle last night, he also hasn't broken much tackles all year.

This year Dak has certainly carried the load. It's amazing that when we give Dak weapons, he certainly uses them.

The bad part is that I think we underutilize Zeke. Surely, we can run Zeke more on the outside rather than keep running him up the middle on 1st downs.

Also, whatever happened to our screen plays?

I like how Minny used Delvin Cook. We should learn a thing or two on how to call an offense from Minny.
