I don't start threads very much. But this has to be said.

We just won a close game on the road in the conference to go 6-4 and stay in control of our division. And many people already want to look ahead to New England and say how we will lose. Like they just can't wait to trash our team.

I don't like it. It's not right.

Shame.

I keep hoping this team turns it around and wouldn’t be the slightest bit surprised if we beat the Patriots, in matter of fact I think we will but that has more to do with what I think of the Patriots.....over rated.

But I agree with the rest, I never expected this game to be this close. As dominating as our offense looked, there were several plays that could have gone either way. Some call it skill, some luck, I think we had a lot of both in this game. I expected much more. A win is a win but if anything this gave me a little loss of confidence going forward.

Hell, I’m happy about the win but I was more impressed with our Vikings and New Orleans losses. Those games gave me hope due to the quality of the teams whereas this gives me less optimism due to the LACK of quality team.

But you are happy they won. Right?

I have Dak on my fantasy team. And he is the big reason I am in first place and will remain there.

But this team will get beat in the playoffs when the time comes, if it comes. Dak has to throw for 400 yards and 3 TD's every week or we lose even against bad teams. And sometimes we lose anyway.

I am happy we won, but this was more evidence that shows that this team isn't close to prime time.

Can you set all that aside and just be happy the Cowboys won for one day? They are 6-4 and in control of the Division after all.

Can we not at least acknowledge that and be happy about it?

Just one day. It's such a little thing. You can tell us all about how they will be blown out by New England tomorrow. I'm sure most will agree.

It was also big because Detroit beat the Eagles earlier in the year. But the Cowboys should have put this game away. The defense was pretty pathetic in the 2nd half. They need to be better, especially against the run.

ROFL did you watch that mess today? They made that QB and RB look all world. This D is absolutely pathetic

I didn't get to see the game. What was so pathetic? A victory on the road in a place where the Cowboys typically struggle (Detroit) and no injuries (fingers crossed - didn't hear of any).

Has it gotten to the point that we can't even be happy about a win? That's all I'm saying.

I understand everyone wants to dominate and wants Garrett gone. I do too. But even the Cowboys of the 70s didn't dominate every game. The year they won a SB they went 6-4 earlier in the season. But came back.

Where are we right now?

You are correct, whats crazy is we could go and win against New England, and they still will not give a clap.

I think Detroit is much better than their record. They've been in every game this season, I believe. Just couldn't pull it out. We all should remember that feeling.
