#1 Zeke is done. He’s no longer an elite RB. We overpaid.
#2 Dak is an elite QB.

Truth 1- We have a very good offense. When teams focus on Zeke, the pass game and DAK will look elite. When teams start respecting DAK, Zekes gonna put up big numbers. DAK has stepped up this year and is definitely a top 10 QB.

Truth 2- Our inability to stop the run is going to catch up to us in the end.

Truth 3 - they also have an inability to stop the pass

Why is it a dumb thread? Zeke is a shell of his former first 2 yrs. He plods an is over weight. Can't cut, hop or make anyone miss.
No back even Zeke are going to make those type plays you mentioned Everytime. They still stack the box on him and Dak is making them pay.........it's a team sport not just a running back sport........he may bust lose next week against the pats..........no way of knowing at this point.

You must be the only guy on this site who doesn't see it.

Zeke can still be great. He needs to be fully dedicated and work hard in the offseason. He also needs to lose 10-15 pounds. He can still be great.

He won’t do it though. Mentally incapable.

This offense has been pegged as one dimensional in the past. "As Zeke goes they go," is the expression people were using. Well we're not one dimensional anymore. So now, I guess the new expression should be, " as the defense goes they go." Cause we can't keep getting into shootouts and expect to win on a regular basis. We're not disciplined enough to keep winning shootouts. We need this defense to stud up and stand up.

Well if they continue to pass to him and Pollard more...he’s really effective in that capacity. This 1st down for 1yd runs business is putting too much pressure on offense in an unfavorable position. Nothing is changing is what’s concerning, his legs lack spring like getting tired. Could be...abuse slowing him down? He is a Marion Barber style runner...violent.

I agree. Physically he can but it will require work. He just won’t do it.

Both. He wont do it, and he just isnt that good. Vision is questionable and he never could really make guys miss. Oline is getting worse, not better. As pollard begins to get more carries by accident, it will become obvious he is the better back.

Yes,that’s the reality...the defense can’t be counted on,not STs,nor running. Red zone passing is a problem too...
that defense needed to be better than this to make it work. Not even far better, just a little would help....I’m not seeing it. The takeaways ...it’s a must to really have a fair shot IMO.
