Twitter: Broaddus done as Cowboy employee

I don’t know anything but it does seem like it was planned and mutual there would be send offs

I agree. There's something off about this, especially when others are sending Tweets of support, effectively disagreeing with the decision.

Yep....you got it Locimus.
10 minute point.. Broaddus isn’t even that mad, just over it.

And Mickey does what he always does, blame the players. And once again, he's wrong. He Gris to pin it all on the "backup tackles", when the fact is that BOTH of them acquitted themselves well enough for the team to win the game. But he needs scapegoats. And they schooled him once again - one sack given up, and the "hits" that he them grasps for weren't due to the players he tries to blame. The man is a company shill and a terrible analyst.

What he is is a toadie excuse-maker. A lap dog.

Yes....thank you bringing up Rob. He really has less patience with Mickey now I’ve noticed ...it’s from doing that crap you mentioned. Arguing for arguing’s sake. I see Rob’s face ..the old “oh jeeze...do we have to do this crap this morning?” look.

Take note of exactly who is at the heart of issues and disagreements involving everyone else - Mickey Spagnola. He's at the center of all disagreements and discord. In any other line of work, his behavior would have him in HR, due to his inability to respect and get along with his co-workers. But because he's a team stooge, he's untouchable. He kisses the right ***.

Why can't you just tell us how you really feel about Mickey. Stop beating around the bush. lol

It's actually more complex than it might appear. I've met him and he's actually very gracious to fans when he meets them in person. I give him a lot of credit for that. But disagree with him when he's defending everything the Cowboys do? And the claws come out!

But no, I'll never be a fan of his takes, or his condescending attitude toward anyone who disagrees with him. I actively avoid reading his tripe on DallasCowboys.com and will now stop downloading the Talkin' Cowboys podcasts. I'll do my part.

Pretty much ambivalent about him myself. Had a few good things to say, and did sometimes criticize the organization, but often would belittle others' opinions, even if they were later proved right. And his "scouting" reports weren't that accurate....

I'll admit the possibility of hearing Mickey and Bryan at each other's throats was a reason for me to listen to their podcast. Now, Rob will have to step it up getting under Mickey's skin. They should put Jessie Holley on Talkin' Cowboys so Mickey will have someone there that won't tolerate him.

Can't stand "homers" when they're in his position, I expect at least sometimes he'd take a dim view of things the organization was doing but with Mickey it's always backing up the Jones and/or ignoring the bad parts, no NFL organization is always right....

He's like some fans, specifically some around here. They somehow mistakenly think it's their job requirement as fans to make excuses for every mistake their favorite team makes. And that's exactly what Mickey does. What they also have in common is a childish tendency to lash out and blame fans for not towing that same line when it's the team that's failing.

Mickey's go-to is attacking the fans with a condescending article when the team fails. Like clockwork. And the same things happens from the homers on this site.

Team fails? Blame the fans.

Mickey is a stickler NBA ref with the rule book violation codes always handy in his back pocket....and he likes to argue and won’t back down. I always chuckle when I hear..”but wait a minute...well what did you mean by that?” Ok here we go...what’s it this time? TOP was off by a tenth of a second? You just checked, and our defense numbers are better than avg in this and that category? He’s not always wrong at all,but picks the worst times to argue against obvious brain farts by Dallas.

He does do some measure of homework, but it's always selective. He digs up stats that he can contort into supporting his narrative while trying to disregard all others.

Like I said regarding that Jets game, he tried to blame it all on "backup tackles", when the fact I said that none of the stats - or sacks - or the "hits" he tried to use, showed that it was in fact the "backup tackles" fault.

but wait a minute, weren't both starting tackles out during that game?
