Eloquence requires intelligence. The implication of my comment being the vapidness of JGs empty statements to the media leads the fan base to assume a lack of said intelligence.Really? There are legitimate complaints about Garrett, and not being as eloquent as Belichick if asked the same question is what you come up with? The ability/desire to give an eloquent response to media questions isn't really what we care about with a head coach is it?
Intelligence Garrett has - I have no doubt he could construct a much more eloquent statement than Belichick if he cared to, and I'm sure most fans know that. Fans are much more concerned with coaching ability, and that's where an argument can be made that has some teeth to it. After all, how eloquent was Landry or Shula or Chuck Noll, for that matter, when have you ever seen anyone talk about how eloquent Belichick is before? That is irrelevant.Eloquence requires intelligence. The implication of my comment being the vapidness of JGs empty statements to the media leads the fan base to assume a lack of said intelligence.
Not that he just don’t talk “purtty”
I LOL'd.Belichek is going to kill us.
I'm guessing we will be focusing more on quick passes, with a few selective shots downfield, and hoping to get the running game going. The Pats are a team that will make you pay if you get reckless. Plus, the weather may be bad as well, which will require a somewhat more conservative approach. I just hope they don't get ultra conservative like in the Saints game.We are a very balanced team offensively. We can hurt you in a lot of different ways. I expect Belichick's game plan to be blitzing often and under control to not let Dak move around and to rush his throws. They will also show man and turn into a zone blitz often. Hopefully we can still make the plays we need
Dak- 280 yds, 50 yds rush, 2 TD, 1 INT
Zeke- 105 yds rush, 20 yds rec, 1 TD
While I have enjoyed this war of words we are disagreeing over syntax.Intelligence Garrett has - I have no doubt he could construct a much more eloquent statement than Belichick if he cared to, and I'm sure most fans know that.
