The Cowboys might actually have more talent than the Patriots.

But the gulf at HC is so wide that I don't see how it will be overcome. Belichek is going to coach circles against these clowns on the other side.

the Pats have more talent and way better coaching than the Eagles, and the Eagles almost won.

just sayin

Feels like Prescott hasn't run enough this season TBH. Wish he would on those 3rd down and short passing plays.

So you know Bill will try to make Prescott's life a living hell on Sunday. Hopefully the line and Zeke come in extra motivated to help out.
The line is the key. We need a running game and some time to throw or we are in deep doodoo..

Belichek is going to kill us.

The more kudos he throws, the more he has it all figured out.

He gave Kudos to Jackson and the Ravens. They lost.
Not saying we'll do the same thing, because we won't, but him giving kudos means little to nothing

So, Landry and Jimmy and many other great coaches didn't take a detailed look at opponents because they didn't verbally express it in front of a microphone? For that matter, how often do we see that much detail in front of the camera from Belichick? He's not particularly known for being gregarious. I wouldn't give a rat's hair if Garrett grunted every time he spoke to the media as long as he could put out a more consistent team year to year and week to week, and if he could have some playoff success. The media crap is just window dressing.

Perception is reality right? I would love to find out that JG is truly a whiz at dissecting opponents in the war room while playing coy with the media. But based on his ten year tenure as HC it's probably highly unlikely that is the case. Wouldn't you agree?

What he's truly saying in all that BS is he's indicating that he wants to the Cowboys to feel good about the passing attack and to ante up the passing attack even more. He's trying to create a look of intimidation for his team. He's going to try and confuse Dak with all kinds of different coverage's.

Really? There are legitimate complaints about Garrett, and not being as eloquent as Belichick if asked the same question is what you come up with? The ability/desire to give an eloquent response to media questions isn't really what we care about with a head coach is it?
JG drives me nuts with his "non-answer" answers, which is why I don't watch/read his pressers. It is also exactly what I want from the head coach in regards to interviews. Why give anything to the media which might come back to bite you in some way?

His point is that you can't really build a successful gameplan against the Cowboys because they have balance. We've seen teams the last two weeks gameplan really, really hard to stop the run. And Dak threw for over 400 yards each game. There isn't a defensive gameplan that defeats this offense.

BB will have to guess right, which he probably will, but the game won't be won beforehand.

He'll figure out any tendencies that the team has and whether they can be exploited. Maybe there are certain plays where Dak's ball placement is weak, or maybe on offense BB can find a way to get favorable matchups. The guy is the best coach in the game. If there's any weakness to be exploited, he'll find it.

Perception really isn't reality though unless you are selling a product that depends on perception for success. For a football coach, success isn't measured by what is said in a press conference, it's measured by what occurs on the field and in the standings. If there are reasonable, rational complaints about Garrett in those areas (and I believe there are some), that's fine. But there is no need to fabricate complaints that really have no substance.

It is boring, no doubt, and like you, I have no interest in his press conferences. I think fans want to find nuggets of information, or tell tale signs of this or that, but the reality is coaches do press conferences only because the league requires it. They really aren't there out of a desire to tell everything they think.

Belichick knows greatness when he sees it, referring to Dak.

Notice how he never mentions our defense though.
"Notice" that he was asked about dak and the offense... not the defense

"Bill Belichick on facing Dak Prescott and the Cowboys’ offense:"
