I don't think teams will pay RBs $14M+ per year going forward. The market price is less for RBs. We shall see pretty soon, though. CMC can claim that he is part WR so that will help his case. Saquon has pretty much fallen off the face of the earth this year.

Interesting to see what the market is for Cook and Kamara.

It was proven a few years ago that even with a top OL the RB matters which is why we used the 4th overall pick on Zeke. If you’ve watched the games you’ll see that our run blocking this season has been crap! Zeke doesn’t have the burst he had 3 years ago but there hasn’t been many running lanes this season. Our run blocking has been the biggest issue. Frederick hasn’t returned to forum and Connor Williams hasn’t gotten it done. We’ve also had some injuries on the OL. Zeke has been having to grind it out this season. Not a lot of room to run.

Zeke has had about 4 or 5 runs where he just had to make a Safety miss and he could have taken them for another 20 yards or even to the house.

Instead, they are 8 to 12 yard gains.

He can't make anyone miss or break a tackle like he used to.

It's clear his breakaway speed is gone and so is his initial burst.

Zeke is the highest paid RB in the league.

With the highest paid offensive line in front of him.

A quarterback that has proven he can make plays and throws more than needed.

This is what comes with being paid the highest at the position.

The problem is your acceptance of a top paid player just being good when they are paid like they are the best.
