Honestly, I'm okay with the Mavs being "Dallas's Team". They'll never be America's Team, not even the year they won it all.

Considering that Garrett is still the HC on yet another mediocre team, why would the Cowboys be at the top of the list of any conversation? At the least the Mavs have won a championship and competed for another in the past 13 years, something you can't say about Jerry and his never ending circus.

Luka is going to be one of the best players in HISTORY, so I really recommend you to enjoy watching this special kid while he is there. What a player to replace the great Dirk! He is rightfully making the headlines in the media. What would you expect for guy whose limit is, well, the sky.

The Cowboys, on the other hand, will keep being on headlines no matter what. Wish they had had a coach like Rick Carlisle, though, they would have been talked about as a 5+ times champion team.

nah the Mavs are a year away, yes Luka is exploding right now but as team we are missing some Defensive shut down pieces like we had in the 2011 Championship.. we are assembling a really solid rotation of scorers but they do including Luka turn the ball over a bit more then im comfortable with and no defensive Stallworth..
we needed another Tyson Chandler or 2 to make this real..we are missing a Draymond Green type..
PS this is a Football Town and no matter how good the other 3 teams are, the Dallas Cowboys will always be kings..

A preseason game would outdraw Game 7 of the Finals for Dallas.
But yeah, Luka is simply amazing.
Last night in the first quarter, he outscored Golden State, outrebounded them, and recorded more assists than them. He had 22 points, 5 rebounds, and 5 assists in the first quarter.
In fact, he had a 35-point triple-double, and he only played 25 minutes.

No way, Luka is great but I don't think the area is tuning into every game just yet. It will still always be about the Cowboys and the money will show it (and that's all Jerry cares about). As long as the Cowboys are the #1 money-maker then Jerry will win.
