The Dallas Cowboys have the #1 overall ranked Offense, while they have the #7 overall ranked Defense.

The New England Patriots have the #1 overall ranked Defense, while their Offense is ranked at #18.

Who wins and why?

I keep going back and forth. In another thread I predicted a low scoring Cowboys win due to the bad weather and having the better running game

But I can’t get over how great NE is at home and it’s still Brady..

We've got the advantage, personnel wise, on offense as opposed to their defense. K truly believe that.

They have better personnel on offense as opposed to our defense as well. We've got one guy who can cover Edleman, but he's on the outside. I can also see Watson giving us absolute fits, being that we still can't cover tight ends.

Obviously, it goes without saying, they're coaching staff is incredible..where as ours is mediocre at best.

I just don't see how Dallas can pull this one out, especially in Foxboro. I don't even think it's going to be close..New England by 18, or more.

I'll be cheering for our Cowboys but I'm just not seeing it on the road in NE against Belichick and Brady.

Patsies win.

Dallas 31
new england 24

on the strength of our offense...and I think our DLine gets pressure on Brady.
I also think Jones,Awuzie and Lewis Do Their Job on the back-end.
but its about Dak and these weapons.

I think the pats win by at least 10 if the cowboys play the way they usually do making mistakes it will be 14 or more

I think the Cowboys winning this game is as sure a thing as beating the Jets was.........oh..........wait............

Globetrotters or Generals?

I actually worked for a Manager that played for the Generals in the old days who was the Race and Sports Book Manager at Jerry's Nugget in Vegas where I worked. He gave me my first job in a casino at the age of 21. All of his stories were insane but were legit.

He told me that once you scored a certain amount of points, you were pulled from the game. He always took it serious and was pulled from the game early.

I'd share some of his off court stories but I'd most likely get benched.

I have a tough time picking Dallas because I keep thinking about what New Orleans did to this offense.

I think it will come down to how well the Cowboys do on early downs and how they handle the Pats blitzes. I don't think Dallas can rely on converting on 3rd and 7 or more like they have a good portion of the season.

Nobody but Cowboys homers would pick them to win Sunday. Lol

On Any Given Sunday always applies. It’s how the Jets upset us and Falcons the Saints. But to pick us straight up is silly.

Now if you like us taking the points then that’s ok. There’s millions who will agree with that wager. I’ll listen to anyone who has money on the game.

I’d like to hear why you think this will be more favorable for us than Saints, Packers or Vikings. The other contenders we lost to.

#1 defenses usually hold their own against #1 offenses. Patriots give up less than 100 yards on the ground and less than 200 yards thru the air. They lead the league in interceptions. And only give up 10 points a game.

This is not one of the Patriots prolific offenses but they should be able to gash us on the ground like other teams have and enable Brady enough play action.

The Belichick advantage against our rookie OC and our overall coaching staff its not really fair:)

New England during Brady era has a NFL record like around 90% at home. It’s the best record at home by a NFL QB since 1960.

Throw in the elements with weather I’m not sure how anyone outside of some Cowboy homers or fantasy players could pick us to win which is an attitude we’d only expect from those close to the team like players and staff.

I am a gambler though and I pay attention to the line. And it moved sharply from the opening line with early Big money taking the Cowboys which moved the line from 7 to 6. Which gives me pause as I always give attention to anyone who feels strongly enough to wager.

The Patriots not very often give up less than 7 points at home. The only game this year will be against the Chiefs. I don’t like betting against the Cowboys so I’ll probably bet on the over/under. Based on our performances against Contenders this year I certainly couldn’t pick us to win. And I definitely have no confidence we will cover. This is a matchup if I wasn’t a Cowboy fan I’d be inclined to taking Patriots.

Pats can have an off day and still win. Gonna take all hands on deck to pull this out. Brady and company won’t stop. No lead will be safe. They actually “fight” for the entire 60 minutes.
