You started this whole deep dive by saying my response was one of the worst posts ever. I believe I speak for more Cowboys fans than you do. Romo is not a HOF caliber QB. To me you lose a lot of credibility by making that statement.
Since you are such a numbers guy... Rivers has 122 career wins which is 9th all time and Romo has 78 which is tied for 47th. So where do that leave you now? Numbers don't tell the whole story.
This is a dumb discussion. Rivers was and is a better QB than Romo, and by me making that statement I am not knocking Romo. I loved Romo as the Cowboy QB. No one defended him more when he was playing.
I don't miss the Romo era, I don't want to go through revisionist history. I am also not saying Dak is better or Romo was better. Romo had his place in Cowboy history. Jerry loved him like a son, he kept this franchise at slightly above .500 which allowed Jerry to keep doing business as usual. Two playoff wins, four losses.
