Darn. This was my biggest concern during last year's draft. With such a long neck, LVE is susceptible to neck injuries as we see now. Ugh.

Time to debut UDFA rookie Luke Gifford if veteran Joe Thomas is not able to go due to illness.

He may not turn out to be that great but dumping another first after his second season on another first round LB when there's so many holes on this team is just beyond stupid. Players can take time to develop...hell even established veterans have down years...it's just part of the game but to immediately discount him and go and waste valuable draft capital isn't very smart. Also we just paid Jaylon Smith...these guys both are playing for multiple years unless they're just THAT BAD and even then this coaching staff will still play them.

Of his crotch, back and neck injuries are very dangerous in this game, let’s just hope for some recovery, yes he’s had problems dating back to college but cmon look at what happen.
