He'd be able to hire the coaches he wants and have more power. He still is a mediocre coach. He might beat us depending on who the next puppet here is. Doesn't matter Garrett's proven he can't win here. Time to move on.He would kick our butts at least one of the games every season maybe sweep us sometimes, regardless the giants would become very hard to beat if that happen. With the giants he would finally be able to be runt the show the way he wants. He would be able to hire his own staff, run the show the way he wants to run an organization. The giants has the foundation in place they just need a coach like Garrett to give them some direction, He is a very good coach.
....and have to face him twice a year.
Get it done, Jerrah!
and he don't have any weapons on his current teamThe Giants and the Falcons would be great fits for Garrett. He could win a lot of games with the weapons on each team actually.
and he don't have any weapons on his current team
Please God make it happen, BUT do you believe that the Giants are dumb enough to make that mistake? Well, I guess they have made some spectacular ones in the past so why not.
Come on Giants............

I find it funny Pats junkie Rapaport drops this prior to this game.
Not just the Giants ...... any other franchise is fine too. I want him gawn. Please God make it happen, BUT do you believe that the Giants are dumb enough to make that mistake? Well, I guess they have made some spectacular ones in the past so why not.

LOL. I’m not concerned as this analogy is not applicable in reality. Garrett has had almost ten years to do something with some pretty decent rosters, had an owner who gave him every opportunity to succeed, and has failed repeatedly while having his powers limited due to it. Bellicheat and Payton are both from the Parcells coaching tree and were successful coaches and coordinators for several years, following the standard path of earning their job titles. Garrett is partly still here because Jerry was consumed by magical thinking in believing that he spent too much time training someone only to let him go and lose out on the next Payton.Knowing our luck he goes to the Giants and then has a career like Belichick and Payton.
Should have been fired after those 8-8 seasons. He inherited a team with a Franchise Qb, A HOF TE and WR and many other good to great players. It doesn't take a decade to build a championship squad. The 49ers are about to go on a second run to the SB. Wouldn't doubt the Ravens end up there as well. Another rebuilding effort that didn't last a decade. Garrett feasts on beating bad teams. He's just lucky the NFC East has been as bad as it has.Nah, there's nothing mediocre about his winning, I am not a stats person, because stats can be used to a player or coach look good or bad depending. A mediocre coach does not have as many wins as he does. Don't let your dislike for him blind you to the truth. He has more wins than a mediocre coach would have. Go back and to whenn he took over in the middle of the season and what the team did, then look at the wins as he was dismantling and rebuilding the team yes during those 3 8-8 seasons then he went what record? then we lost Romo and went down and then came back to what record, then lost Romo again and with a rookie QB we ent to what record? We have been above a 500 record(mediocre) for the past 3 seasons and will be again this season, no he is not mediocre.

I’m sorry, but where did I say Payton was a great coach? Whether he is or isn’t, Payton has won a SB with a perennial loser of a team and has coached competitive playoff caliber teams with them, so he has been more successful than Garrett by the standard.Payton? Sean Peyton? You think he is a great coach? I know Garrett has yet to win a SB, but Peyton is no genius, nothing to be bragging about.
