Dak and Coaching were major issues today

it was a horrible low throw that Dak rushed .. Brady threw away at the end of the game to run time off the clock or the pass Dak padder his stats with at the end of the game. Or the fact he totally ignored he had wide open room to run in the red zone again.

And you can ignore that Dak had way better blocking..

I hope you're talking about the failed Jarwin pass, because I swear to you he could have scored. Instead, we "have" to kick us a field goal to get within 4. I think Dak is protecting himself, because of the contract situation.

I also find it hilariously ironic, when Zeke averages 2.4ypc we feed him the ball like crazy..yet on a night he's averaging 4+ we completely abandon the running game

I'm beyond done with JG.

Dak is our guy. Zeke ran hard. Maybe they didn't go to him enough? Defense turned up to play. Held New England to 13 points. We were outcoached, again. Special teams get a grade F. Killed us. It came down to decisions.

Dak doesn't have the brains to beat a good defense

We lost because of special teams, we lost because of the slow start, we lost because of Dak, we lost due to poor play calling on the last drive, we lost because of.... because of.... because of...... because of....

Always some excuse and it's been getting old for a looooooooooooooooooooong time

I thought Dak was fine once he put the gloves on.

he was bad before that. The Int hurt. I wish he would have worn the gloves sooner.

A team with a real coaching staff would have resolved rainy day equipment issues in the offseason. Let's be generous and say the offseason *after* his rookie season.

This is Dak's 4th year as our starting QB, and we're still figuring out what equipment he should use on a rainy day.

Maliek spent a couple years with a recurring broken foot because he was wearing the wrong size shoes.

Rams game, the team is changing their cleats midway through the game.

I’m telling you man. He doesn’t want to be labeled a Mobile/Running QB. He knows that
A. They don’t get as much respect/attention,
and
B. They don’t last as long in the NFL, which means less money.

He has to not only show Jerry Jones, but the world that he can be a pure pocket passer like Brady and Goff. He wants to show the world he’s accurate (he’s getting better) and a pocket passer. I don’t like this mentality of his. It’s hurting him more than helping. He’s more like Russell Wilson than Brady and he and the coaching needs to act like it. Stop forcing him to be something he isn’t. He’s stopping himself from reaching his full potential by doing this.

A lot of the top QBs this season are running QBs. To not use Dak's running ability is to make him less than he is. It is possible to run smart. You don't have to run like a FB.

They couldn't kick the ball to the 10 yard line on kickoffs and Dallas still started every possession inside their own 20.

Missed FG, blocked punt and not being able to get lined up on a punt.

We took a delay of game penalty on a punt when the Pats didn't put a returner back. Just pooch it and let it bounce.

that patriots defense has made every QB except LAMAR Jackson look bad. And lamar’s success was largely due to his freakish running ability.

and the conditions for throwing were AWFUL.

Not Prescott's biggest fan by any means but I completely agree with the above.

Do people think Prescott isn't running himself due to coaching or that in the back of his mind he doesn't want to risk injury as he doesn't have a new contract in place?

This is purely speculation, but do you think Dak is not running because he doesn’t want to risk injury before signing a contract.
Apologies I didn't see this before writing my post! Good point - I wonder what other people think...

We lost the game because of Special Teams..... you know that right??

Exactly. We lost due to Special Teams. And this may have been the second game we lost due to Special Teams coaching IMO. i.e. Tavon Austin Fair Catch.

It's Special Teams (ST coach) and losing the turnover battle constantly. Jimmy Johnson always hammered these two fundamentals into his players.

I may be the only one to say this. But the rest of our coaching staff stood toe to toe vs the Pats coaching staff.

No, the fact the ball was at the knees of the WR so the DB dived and made the INT is a fact. Throwing at the knees is not a good throw.

The fact is, Dak rushed a side armed, trying to get it out of there on the high snap. It was a garbage throw.

Agree. The pass should not have been attempted. Its the type of mistake a rookie makes - bad snap put him under pressure and he made a panicked throw out of a back pedal A vet either composes himself before throwing (if has the time in the pocket) or throws it over the sideline. How often do HS coaches talk about throwing off a firm base?

I agree.

I'm not Garrett's biggest fan but he basically gets the blame for everything!

The reality is for this game the Special Teams coach had an absolute shocker and as you state, it cost us the game.

I just think the Patriots are the best defense in the league. No shame in not scoring against them. But special teams goofs? That can’t happen.
I agree 100% ST goofs were embarrassing. I do disagree, equally as embarrassing was walking out of there with no TDs...just as they had the #1 defenses we sported the #1 offense

sorry Dak was just as bad as the ST. his INT set up the only TD of the game. did he get better after gloves and whatever? sure but not good enough to make up for that.

You know whether it special teams or defense or the offense it’s the cowboys every week they find different ways to underwhelm even in victories

this is a stupid team led by a stupid coach mistakes always contribute to losses and you just can’t put your faith in the hands of the zebras they fail over and over

Brady struggled in the conditions as well.

I'm not Prescott's fan by any means and even though we didn't score a TD (theirs came courtesy of special teams) I thought he did pretty well in the conditions once he put the glove on.

It was always going to be a game of attrition.
