Man if this is what we are going to have to watch in the super bowl I won't even watch. this is football that is played on saturday. I wish they would keep it there.

I can't put into words how much I dislike the nfl bringing in all the college offensive concepts. Its awful.

Cowboy fan here in Maryland, about 20 minutes south of Baltimore. I root for the home team so long as they're not playing Dallas.

Like NE, another antithesis to the Cowboys organization. Good owner who lets the GM do his thing and build the team. Always defensive minded and fundamentally sound. They don't beat themselves.

Can we PLEASE get THAT?

Clearly, Lamar is a better runner than Dak. But I think Dak would have a similar effect on the Cowboys offense as Jackson has on the Ravens' offense. LJ freezes linebackers because they don't know if he's going to run or pass. That helps his passing.
I wish Dak would run more. Even Michael Vick said Dak has plays where he should just tuck it and run instead of waiting for a receiver to get open or take a sack.
Dak could be so much more deadlier if he would just use his legs more.

Awwww does innovation scare you? Lmao. You sound like an old man that is scared of change and tells us how his generation is so great.

I get it but we aren’t that far removed from the Proto type as your own example just revealed. And you left out several other proto types around the league.

I get the interest and awe in these freakishly talented athletes . But over time it’s not a proven sustainable successful weapon in NFL.

Brees - 1 SB ring
Rodgers - 1 SB
Flacco - 1 SB
P. Manning - 2 SB wins and he flat our sucked in the second one. Their defense carried him.
E. Manning - 2 SBs with a lot of help from his defense.
Big Ben - 2 SB wins and ditto.
Warner - 1 SB win
Favre - 1 SB win

What is this "sustainable" nonsense? Brady is an anomaly, not the norm. If you get one ring out of a QB you've done well.

Beyond frustrating that we have like a trillion dollars invested in this running game and I can't remember us ever owning someone like this.

Unless Patriots lose Ravens will still need to go up to Foxboro and beat them.

I've read Harbaugh is big on analytics and prepares for every situation just like Bellicheck. He is also big on adjusting his team to the players he has.
If Lamar was with the Cowboys, JG would waste his talents by trying to make him into a pocket passer and be more like "Brady".

This is very true since they told Dak not to run too much and to stay in the pocket. Harbaugh doesn't care about what those traditional QB talking heads and fans think, who believes that there should a strict set of rules that a QB follows like staying in the pocket and becoming a pure pocket passer.

Harbaugh supports Lamar for who he is and doesn't care about what the critics thinks and he then builds a system to best fit Jackson's strengths. Garrett is incapable of doing this, he just goes along with the ride in hoping that a QB is talented enough to take him to the playoffs, rather than actually contributing to the development of a QB in any meaningful way.

Yep, insert Dak into Roman's offense and he would be pretty damn close to what Lamar is doing

He’s too scared to run this season. Mobile QB’s are VERY hard to stop. Why he doesn’t do it, I don’t know . Some people on this site want to say he’s not a mobile QB, when he clearly has the potential to actually be one.

Well, we can't get Jackson, but we can get his OC as our HC.
