We the fans do care more about winning. I assure you the people of this board would make a better team than what we have now simply due to the fact that we care and would put more effort into it. Of course we don’t have the talent, but talent can only take you so far over over motivation, Faith, and hard work.

This team is allergic to hard work.
@AmariChill...I think that the guys work hard, but the culture around Frisco is bad and have been for years, whether there or Valley Ranch. I'm sure that you've heard the saying that "attitude reflects leadership", so when the owner and the powers that be are fine with mediocrity this is what you get.

I can't post the video because of the title, but you can go to YouTube and find the video that had the pictures and the story. They're both stupid people and don't care about how they make the franchise look in the offseason.

What a shame. Oh well. All we can do is hope that JJ goes nuclear enough to cut and trade most of the team away and start fresh. Clear the coaching staff and the team.

Environment isn’t an excuse. Teams that live in LA obviously live in a lavish environment, yet they are unaffected by all of the partying and celebrities nearby. They clearly don’t work hard. They work hard enough to please the senile Jerry Jones to get paid, and that’s it for them. That’s all they have to do. Once they get past that stage, it’s over. They don’t care anymore. They don’t have to work hard. They don’t have to win. They’ve achieved their goal. It sucks but it’s true. A lot of people have this mindset, we the fans just don’t want to admit it.

I'm not speaking in terms of the city of Dallas nor the facilities in which this team operates from. Jerry and son talk a good game every week about what needs to be done and ultimately does nothing, and again we the fans suffer because to your point "they work hard enough to please senile Jerry Jones" and that is what accepted around this team and that leads to the constant mediocrity.

This thread sure is a steaming pile.

Hey...here's an idea....let's assess players based on opponents trash talk.
When the Bills win something it will be the first time. Maybe the Cowboys won’t go anywhere either, but it’s almost a guarantee the Bills won’t get out of the AFC.

I say we tag Dak for 2020.

If he doesn't perform well, dump his ***. Im over this culture where players act like celebrities. At least Romo never did this.
Didn’t Romo head off to Cabo just before one of the biggest games of his career? People tend to forget history, there was period when Romo was accused of not being serious enough about football. Guess that’s been forgotten.

Romo probably lost that game too. Romo was probably just like our players now and didn’t realize how important being serious about football until it was too late. He got lucky by getting in the booth, but not every player has such lucky fate after retiring from football. Dak, Zeke, and the other players will not realize how big of a mistake they are making by not caring until it is too late for them. Unfortunate, but true.

He will regret it soon. He’ll mature and realize just how big of a mistake he made. By then, it will be too late. Sad, but true. There isn’t anything we can do about it. That’s why older players are better than younger. They are more mature and they care more because time is running out. There is a sense of urgency for them. Dak and Zeke, however, do not seem to have this urgency clock going just yet.

The HC actually suggested they get away. There were multiple players there and they weren’t missing anything. Romo could’ve hung home or showed up at facility and threw the ball to himself. lol another ridiculous situation by the cream puff coaching staff. They came out soft then and they’re still soft now. Multiple coaching and roster changes and still the same no balls no confidence results!! Sure.. it was all Romo’s fault. Still is.

I was a big supporter of Romo. But, he definitely lived like a celebrity. Until he got married, all he did was date celebrity women - Jessica Simpson, Carrie Underwood, etc.
