He will regret it soon. He’ll mature and realize just how big of a mistake he made. By then, it will be too late. Sad, but true. There isn’t anything we can do about it. That’s why older players are better than younger. They are more mature and they care more because time is running out. There is a sense of urgency for them. Dak and Zeke, however, do not seem to have this urgency clock going just yet.

There will probably come a point where he’ll have SOME sort of regret, but how much did he get? 90 mill? That’s ** money, ain’t it?

Everyone has regrets at some point. When you get older (like old old) money tends to get less important. Experience and moments in life tend to triumph money. I think that’s when he’ll reach his realization. It will be too late for many of us to see by then, however.

Same thing happened with Romo. Was Romo bad too?

As long as JG is the HC, it will continue regardless who the QB is.

Romo's legacy is 0 Super Bowls and 2 playoff wins. That's pretty bad.

I'm a Cowboys fan, you freakin' nut.

And the Patriots would own us like they have owned the league for 2 decades.

Doesn’t help when so many talk about how terrible that division is. How NE has a cakewalk every year. Then the Cowboys lose to the Jets and get spanked by the Bills. It’s a little embarrassing! Not exactly building a strong case!

Wrong. I started to dislike Dak as a player when he had games under his belt and I saw he didn't have what it takes to lead us to the Super Bowl.
So after Dak compiled stats that put him statically in top tier QB level and team w/l record only 2nd to Brady you've solidified your opinion that Dak sucks.

So I remember you liked Minshew??

He got benched for Foles. Do you still think Gardner is worth a competition with Dak?

Just asking, next coach could want options.
I started to dislike him as a person when I realized, along with Zeke, these dudes aren't all that serious about football and would rather be idiots in a night club and create terrible optics for this organization.

And many of those "bad character" players in the 90s were still dang good. Maybe read my post twice next time.
So being dang good is an excuse for what Irvin and other 90s great players did off field....got it!
Like I said earlier, Dak hasn't had any off field issues and if you think a millennial QB won't have heavy social interaction you are in for a wild ride...

Uhhhh here....

Glad to see you own your misplaced hatred of Dakota.

Your thoughts on Garrett while we're at it???

I have made threads, given my opinion, and potential replacements for Garrett. Apparently you haven't been here.

Or it just doesn't hit my radar. Regardless .. Who's your replacement?

I don't live here btw. But I'm always around. Get at me anytime.

LOL so now w/l records matter? Earlier in this thread, that didn't matter, it was the QBR....until the QBR didn't matter anymore either, then it went back to the w/l

I criticized Dak and how the very fundamentals of the QB position that he struggled with would come back to bit him. In 2017 and 2018, this all showed up on film. Now he can't even beat winning teams....

Minshew is being benched because their HC is desperate to save his job.

And it's a combination of things, of course. If a player is extremely good, HOF-level potential, they will get more leeway. Obviously, there are limits. Everything was kept in-house when Jimmy was here, and everything went wrong once Johnson quit. We don't have a coach to control personalities and nobody on our roster is great enough to have problems off the field.

Who is up next?

From college, the hot prospect is Lincoln Riley

From the NFL, Kevin Stefanski is my top choice

Who I think will be our HC? I think Richard stayed because Jerry gave him a wink about being Garrett's replacement if things all go to crap like they are now. I think Jerry is that dumb to not blow it all up.

I'm cool with Riley if that's the pick but I like Urban Meyer just as much as the Lincoln possibility. Urban coached Zeke in college and can get him back on track.

We need a no nosense detail oriented authoritarian head coach. Whoever we get, I hope he fits those parameters.

So, basically if you are a great player on the field and have a coach or team that can cover up off field issues you'll condone it.
Got it:thumbup:

Dak has already beaten winning teams and has played well against playoff teams in the playoffs.
This is just another bait click and tv hot topic to fill space between commercials....

Do watch all of the Bills sideline chatter...want to know what they said about LVE with a headset on the sideline helping with plays....it won't fit your narative.

Whose up next? I don't care I wanted Redball Gone last year at 3-5. Garrett will limp into the playoffs. That is why I expect championship or Bust...

Urban Myer maybe..

We'd be no worse off with someone like Alex Smith for a third of the price.

Thanks to a bad GM and bad HC. Brad Johnson and Trent Dilford has more playoff wins and both won SBs. They weren't better than Romo.

What single 25 year old nfl player doesnt go to clubs?
Wrong. I started to dislike Dak as a player when he had games under his belt and I saw he didn't have what it takes to lead us to the Super Bowl. Bills have a pretty good team this year and they should be proud of their achievements. Unfortunately for them, they will be facing a team in the playoffs that will be waving goodbye to them as well. But I do like their cockiness and Dallas deserved every little bit of it.
