I believe we all want Garrett gone, but whatever Jerry calls himself doing the past 2 weeks thru the media is just asinine.

The greatest fear Jerry has at this point in letting Garrett go,
is that he will have success somewhere else and it will expose
GM JJ
decisions and control as the one who is limiting Dallas'
on the field performance.
Jerry has NOTHING to worry about if thats his fear

Mr Garrett, if you're reading this, here's a show you may want to watch to prepare for your next gig. Set your alarm for 8 pm Central and you may learn something on HBO.

Can Jerry be put in an old age home already..

there's enough wacky material out there that Stephen can get a Medical Power of Attorney on him
Like Stephen is any better or less looney than his Dad .
The apple didn't fall far from the tree here.

I listened to this week's Cowboy podcast from the Athletic, in which the commentators argued that the Jones family may seriously pursue Bill Belichick in the offseason. No one knows whether he has more time left on his contract, so apply ample grains of salt. I could live with Belichick in silver and blue; he obviously knows how to win football games.

Ugh. I was just reminded how utterly crazy it was how this all started.

Red was hired for OC BEFORE a head coach was named.

All due respect Wade. How could you have accepted that situation?

:muttley: We can only dream...
Medical power of attorney won't do it. He would have to be proven as incompetent in probate court and then have a guardian appointed.
lol we can collect enough evidence to get the ball rolling

I don't know what it's going to take to get Jerry to wake up. A beating in Chicago? I really really do not want to go through another Thursday extremely disappointed. The Bears are trash, but if the Cowboys come out yet again with a piss poor effort they'll get trounced like they did on Thanksgiving. I truly hope someone lit a fire up these players ***** and they show it come Thursday.

The fact is, Jason used opportunities to get Jerry to increase his salary, despite his incompetence.
This is when the Ravens “settled” for John Harbaugh.

Another factor was Jason Garrett had some head coaching opportunities. He got an offer from the Baltimore Ravens [in 2008], and his agent evidently went back to Jerry and said, “If you give him what Baltimore is paying him as a head coach, he’ll stay in Dallas as offensive coordinator.” Jerry matched the offer and now Jason was making more than me.

The he stunk it up dropping to bottom half of the league in red-zone scoring without Sparano. Jason was about himself always and Jerry is an idiot. He should have taken the Rams job that was 2-14 the next year, but Rams fans knew that was a stupid hire and supposedly inundated the FO with angry phone calls. So the Rams FO has to play it off and go hire Spagnola, even though they had Garrett in for a second interview and rumors were it was a done deal.

Why does this guy keep talking about Garrett like he's some standard setting coach who's gotten this team close to Superbowls.

Jerry has done nothing but lose respect and credibility with this Garrett debacle. Literally the only person I haven't heard question his decision, is Garrett himself.
