Either make it legal in the NFL or test the players once a month for it. After they pass the yearly drug test they run out and smoke all year and party..

They test players once a year, unless they have failed a test.

They call it the idiot test, because the testing happens between the NFL Draft and the beginning of training camp, and they give you a heads up that it's coming.

I know. That’s what kills me. They let you know the random test is coming. Pass it and smoke all you want, just don’t get arrested. Or post it on social media. I can think of 3 player right off the bat that plays or played for us that did it.

I know. I'm just saying Dallas players are infamous for stuff like this. Every year we have 3-5 players that are in trouble for weed or violence or some other kind of arrest warranted offense. Maybe it's because I don't pay attention to other teams, but our players seem to get "caught" more often than not.

Most of us would be thrilled to make the league minimum, whatever that is. Isn't it something like 300K? Anyway, imagine if you were offered a job for 300K per year under the stipulation that you could never touch any illegal drug like pot. I would be all in! There's no way I would touch anything. Why can't these guys do that? Do they have any idea how lucky they are?

Edit: I looked up the league minimum for 2019. It's 480K for a one-year contract. Jeez. For 480K do you think you could stay away from pot and other illegal stuff? I could.
