I'd say Jerry is like Al Davis, but Davis was really good at one point. Jerry is never good at anything except promotion.

Jerry is just old Al grasping at straws, right along with a goofball son ready to take over when he kicks the bucket.

Al was a loon but he didn't grasp onto the spotlight and make himself the face of his franchise like our team's egomaniac of an owner.

What's it going to be then, eh?

Jones is heading in this direction.

I just listened on the Radio.com rewind and I heard the first dump and then Jerry said, “Do you understand BS?” And then their system dropped the call. The program director came on and said the delay system dumps the call when the dump button is pressed twice close together.

Him complaining about the K is such a joke. Says there are no other options. Complete lies. ANYBODY can replace Maher. Guy is all time terrible. If this old drunk read the opinions of dozens of posters here he would have known this K is not up for the job. This guy is a 30 years NFL GM and he can't spot a bad kicker. What a complete clown. He is more Al Davis than Al Davis ever was.
Can't believe we did not bring another kicker to camp
Totally inexcusable

Been listening since the beginning, that was hilarious. “I’m not in the mood to jack around with you this morning” and I believe he just hung up after they asked him a question about Garrett :lmao2:

Edit: Now they’re saying the call was automatically dropped because of too much swearing after they asked Jerry about Garrett.

Jerry is back on...

Jerry needs to be under fire, and they need to ask the tough questions. it's about time.

He can't admit defeat on this. He just can't. He can't bring himself to tell everyone that Garrett has to go. Because in doing so, it's Jerry clearly saying he was wrong and made a mistake. That his system where he can meddle in everything as long as the coach lets him doesn't work.

In other words, he can't admit failure here.

He knows the fans are frustrated. He knows people in the organization are frustrated. He knows things aren't working like they should (or they expected). He knows he's responsible for it.

And then turns around and basically wonders why everyone and their mother is saying the same thing - Garrett needs to go now.
