What coach in his right mind would work for Jerruh Al Davis Jones? What coach would sign up to be a passenger, while Jerruh is in the driver's seat?

No good ones, that's for sure.

Nothing will truly change until that cash register slows down.

Hey Jerry - don’t take it out on the host because you’re the worst G****** owner in all of sports and making your entire organization a joke because you won’t do THE ONE ******* THING EVERYONE ON THE ******* PLANET KNOWS NEEDS TO BE DONE!!!
Good thing you weren't on the call into the radio station, Beaker.

I don't care who the QB is. Martin has been terrible all year, though. The whole OL has.
It has nothing to do with Dak. The OL did the same to Romo in 2010 when they gave up. This team no longer wants to play for Garrett.

You are thinking way too hard about this. This team has given up on Garrett. Its the same as 2010. Except Jerry won't fire Garrett and get it over with. Even after losing 11 straight in 2015.

Key difference between this O line and the 2010 O line:

4 of the 5 guys on that 2010 starting O line were 32 years old, or older.
Most of them past their prime and the only "young" guy was Doug Free who was constantly maligned by our fanbase.

this year's group is all young guys, under 30 who are either in or very close to their prime years (exception for Frederick, who is still probably feeling a bit of the effects of recovering from GB syndrome)

Also Romo had his collarbone busted in week 6, and wasn't even on the field for the collapse when everyone pretty much folded.

Not apples to apples.

there is something deeper going on here than merely quitting on a coach. I honestly don't think I'm over analyzing this.
Opinions differ of course and I get that. Fun to discuss such things. Better than talking about our on field performance, which has been abysmal of late.

Any time someone curses system drops call. Up to 300k fine per curse word. He cursed twice.

He did not like being asked if he was embarrassed. JG is gone. He’ll be coaching the giants.
I hadn't heard the interview and thought that went out over the air, it didn't. Their delay picked it up and actually dropped the call after a second cuss word.

Disagree. I think wanting young hotties to fawn over you and touch you in your naughty place is the essence of animals. It's the ability to be honest and true to your vows that is the essence of human. Not just in marriage, but in any capacity. Sounds cheesy, sure, but he could easily divorce his wife and have all the hotties in the world touch his naughty places. He doesn't, and even though I wouldn't care any less or more than I do now, at least he wouldn't be scumbag material. Creepy and perverted, no doubt, but not scumbag.

Good post.

If a person in Jerry's position (or anyone's for that matter) does take a step down the infidelity road, never ever allow your wife to be publicly embarrassed by the act.

JG doesn't deserve an owner like Jerry,
Jerry cusses & talks to radio hosts .
JG is a 'heck of a coach' , & Jerry is a real abuser of power .

Jerry’s reaction today sells these days and there are tons of people out there that will lap it up and still fill the stadium and then when he’s finally lost those people opposing fans will line up to fill the stadium and then when that gets old they’ll still have the corporate money to fall back on and when that dries up then We will get the change but it’ll never get there because salesman Jerry will rebrand the team with his new coach and begin the cycle again.

No, if nothing else Jerry wants to have his replacement signed, sealed and delivered before Jason is canned. And I think Jerry realizes if he brought someone in right away, it's too late to turn this team around, and be a SB winner. Takes more than a few weeks for a new coach to put his personal stamp on things.

All he'd do, if the new coach wins even all the remaining games, is push them farther down the draft rank. Jerry knows he needs players, a freaking kicker if nothing else, and the higher the draft pick the better player he'll get.

IF somehow the team under Garrett gets into the playoffs, maybe wins a home game, then Jerry knows that will give fans hope, so they'll stick around.

Garrett is gone, but not until the season is over, whenever that is...
He has to be careful though about signing someone. He almost got into hot water with the Rooney rule when he hired Garrett. If I remember right, there was an investigation since the only minority he interviewed was from his staff and clearly not an actual candidate.

More to it than that.

Firing Garrett is full admission of personal failure by Jerry. He's admitting he was wrong. That he really doesn't know football, just like Jimmy said he didn't. McClay already gets the personnel credit.

Jerry is PISSED at the players for quitting on his golden boy head coach. He doesn't want to fire him.

Life will change for Jerry dramatically at 78 years old. There's not enough Johnny Walker Blue to ease that pain.

He's freaking out.

To be fair to Garrett the Defense sucks. The Special Teams sucks. They really have not underachieved that much at 6-7. The O line is playing with tons of injuries and pain. The star WR disappears if he gets punched in the mouth and if it is cold outside. He cam from Alabama. And has played in California & Texas. Clearly he does not like playing in the cold.

The QB in my opinion does not suck! But he is not great either. If you put him on a team without so much offensive firepower like the Bengals he would look awful.... as a lot of QB's would.
How is that to his defense? Hes the head coach who is responsible for the whole team, not just the offense.
