This is conjecture painted as fact. Nothing more.
Funny, because all the excuses for Zeke are conjecture and nothing more. IMOF, there’s stats to back up arguments against Zeke’s play but those get ignored and people make excuses for those stats unless it favors Zeke of course.

Proud of his play last night and for hitting over 1000 yds again and 9 TDs is right up there for a RB.

It's been a difficult year for you.

Like the example you are setting.

I appreciate you, bub.

"right up there for a RB"?

Zeke was supposed to be the best RB in the NFL. Was supposed to be top 5.

He definitely is not anymore. Nice to see him finally break a run over 15 yards last night, but he missed lots of huge cut back holes again. Zeke is limited in the passing game. Doesn't have a good feel for routes or what to do to be a quality outlet option. The new coaching staff will hopefully start playing Pollard more because that big play dynamic just isn't there with Zeke.

His contract will go down as one of the worst in Cowboys history.

9 TD's is respectable at this point in the year, but considering he plays on the #1 offense in football he should be absolutely dominating and he doesn't.

The build model is obvious, just look at the 49ers for example.
They have a great running game but they don't sale the farm to pay one RB.
They got 3 in Matt Brieda, Tevin Coleman, and Raheem Mostert.
All three of those RBs combined salaries are inconsequential compared to the truck load of cap deflating money Jerry deposited into Zekes bank acct.
You see,, I have never said that Zeke wasn't a good/great RB,, all Ive ever said is that there is a different way to win this game.
This is a salary cap game vs talent league, and you have to be smart enough to have some composure and not have the best of the best, because the cap will not support any team having the best of the best and pay top dollar for the best of the best.

Yep, you have a stable of quality backs with a run game built around the Oline. All those niners backs have been in and our of the lineup with injuries, but there are always at least two quality backs that can ball.

We pay one idiot 15 million. HE gets suspended, holds out in Cabo, or loses a step and the entire running game is toast.

Although at this point, if Zeke went down and Pollard came in, I would be willing to bet the kid would make Zeke look like Eddie George his last year in the league.

He doesn't look like a $90 million RB to me, he just doesn't.

To me he has had 2 good games, and for people clamoring on him to be an elite back, he should have a better showing than that. What were his two good games, the Eagles and sadly the Bears. The game fell to far behind for him to pull more off, we have so many deficiencies I don't even know where to begin, I guess to get the majority and my primary concern as well a new coaching staff. Do I believe the talent is constantly overstated on this team?? YES. Can this team player better? YES!!1 Does Garret make half time adjustments or still believe he is a 9 year old bullying a 7 year old "We do what we do". Listening to Belichick just pure bliss, this would be what any cognizant coach would do, how you attack anything, you attack THEIR weakness. Every week we make all stars out of sofa sitter qbs.

This! But this will get interesting from the Barkley crowd.
Will be interesting to see if the “Barkley crowd” can identity that he isn’t the same RB that he was last year or if they will continue to claim he is like the “Zeke crowd” claims Zeke has always been the same back.

I've said it before: Running backs are highly overrated and wholly dependent on the line in front of them (see Murray), and they're also a dime a dozen. Paying Elliott like that was a colossal mistake that, you would think, anyone with any football intelligence would avoid.
Its definitely a risk.

I miss those wash board abs.

I don't know about that.
He does what he can do I guess, but a true team captain can carry a team.
Not saying Zeke isn't one of the best backs in the league, and fans get too caught up in what a player gets payed.
Zeke is no team leader, and never will be, doesn't know how to be.
A smart franchise never pays top dollar for any player that cant fulfill those expectations, at any position.
RBs don't carry the load anymore in todays NFL,, and Zeke hit the mega Millions jackpot because Jerry thought paying Zeke
would be like paying Deion or Haley.
So he hasn't crried the load the last few years and this team??

Hey, Golden...and what a disappointing bowl of mess this season has turned out. The whole team has played at less than top shelf tough...and that affects Zeke Elliott as well.
He shouldn't need 1500+ yds for this team to be able to win. He will finish somewhere around 1300, that should be good enough for this team to win 10+ games with the right coaches in place.

If carrying the load to 6-7 at this point actually means something to you, then sure.
No but I notice hes the only one out there and it's not really his fault when the whole line is crap this year defense cant stop anybody and OC refuses to run the ball in the 2nd half taken sure
