The argument to keep Jason Garrett for 2020

My position has always been that Jason needs to get it done this year to justify an extension.

It’s just also the case that I expect we’ll end up worse off if he doesn’t pull it off. You guys won’t care because you’ll just flip on the new guy instantly and want another new coach anyway. But I’ve always wanted the highest likelihood of fixing the things that are dysfunctional in the organization. And Garrett gave us a pretty good chance of that.

Compare Garrett to other longtime coaches such as Andy Reid.

Reid has never won the SB. Why does he get an excuse?

Reid coached in a SB and six conference title games.

Garrett has never sniffed a conference title game.

I dont think Garrett is much worse than him. Anyway, I am just starting discussion. Asking questions that arent what majority agrees with isnt wrong. He has had nearly a decade to try to fix it. He failed.
