So explain where I made up my own definition when I merely quoted Aikman. Dude, you are embarrassing yourself.
If you're using someone elses it's not yours or correct. You also need to properly quote someone.

Wow! Passing yards while being bottom half of the league in red zone efficieny, despite having the top ranked pass blocking line in football according to Football Outsiders and top 3 run blocking line. But according to you our blocking sucks, even though our OL has given up the least amount if sacks and top five in least pressured.

And with all this passing yards. Zeke is still way more efficient in the red zone than Mr. Passing Yards Dak.

And teams are constantly playing one safety deep, because of our rushing attack and daring Dak to beat them.

but yeah continue on with the passing yards, that ‘adds points’ on the score-board according to guys that think 3 is larger than 9.

I mean he ended up being cool with me and all, but dang...I mean you continue to disprove EVERY single false rebuttal of his and yet he keeps on going. I can tell he's not some stupid guy so I'm unsure of his ultimate end game motive. I know if I was a debate team scorekeeper I might call the "mercy rule" on you bro. Cheers.

This is laughable.. Aikman said it. I never gave a definition of padding stats when I referenced Aikman. You tried to save face by asking ME how he pad stats. Now you are claiming you know what Aikman’s definition of stat padding is, and I don’t.

You are Embarrassing yourself.

Fair enough but if you are being honest about the details Troys comment was made after the Detroit game, pre New England. I am not positive, but in this week to week current NFL, I'd wager to say Troy would not make that same statement now and most assuredly implied as such by his game remarks this past Thursday.
Thank you for being respectful in your reply. No harm in agreeing to disagree. I share in your previous Romo opinion just not with your current Dak one. No worries bro. Cheers.
We can agree to disagree!

But I'd add Troy's comments came in response to Dak's overall career performance, albeit Troy is always critical of Dak on 10/18 he stated Dak needs to be more accurate...Troy always has constructive criticism but has always given Dak the thumbs up when entire performance is question

Troy slammed Dak prior to this year. It has nothing to do with his ‘overall’ career, but the progress he made thus year, before Dallas and Dak started collapsing. And Aikman after this collapse doesn’t have nice things to say about anybody in this organization.

and Aikman was gushing more about Mitch Trubisky on Sunday. But the same Dak homers quoting Aikman on Nov 17th are the same ones that say Mitch sucks.

Again date stamped November 17, opinions change. But yeah. Agree to disagree, no prob.

Hate to be the reality check here but the Cowboys haven't scored a TD in the second or third quarter for three full games now.
So there's that...Lol!

Remember the beginning of the season when we were lighting up the third quarter.

I think this topic should be brought up again at the end of the season.
For me, it's more about playoff success and getting back to the SB...not so much about stats.
Let Dak and the team finish, then you can make a more complete evaluation IMO.

Yes according to me against winning teams our Oline sucks...:lmao2:I used your same dumb reasoning....

Our Oline to be accurate is Overrated.

Of course you'll cherry pick a stat that is bad to justify your opinion on Dak.

Cowboys offense is ranked 8th of in scoring...the goal is scoring from anywhere....redzone inefficiency only matter if you struggle scoring. Cowboys are in the top 10.

And with all this passing yards. Zeke is still way more efficient in the red zone than Mr. Passing Yards Dak.
So what Dak is still the QB1 for 8th scoring offense..

Cherry picker!
And teams are constantly playing one safety deep, because of our rushing attack and daring Dak to beat them.
Dak is still a high rated passer against cover 2 defense. Dominique Foxworth detailed the stat. Would you like "Details"? :lmao2:

I never said...you created a straw man argument..
Keep trying...pay attention to details

Ah, our OL is over-rated despite giving up the least amount of sacks if any team and top 5 in least QB pressures, but Dak padding stats while getting blown out and not being able to score in the red zone, so we have to kick FGs, which guys like you then blame for the losses when Maher misses, so that we rank as the 8th ranked scoring offense isn’t over-rated?

And further, comparing Zeke and Dak, particularly in red-zone efficiency, has nothing to do with the 8th ranked scoring offense. And further, Dak like to pad stats and can’t score against good defenses. So whoopity doo for a guy that couldn’t score against the Jets. Nor does claiming we are successful against ‘cover 2’ have anything to do with how much our team sees man coverage because of our running game and teams dating Dak to beat us, which he clearly can’t do with winning teams as 6-7 clearly demonstrates and his zero comebacks this year when losing by half-time and so on. And guess what? Cover 2 is also prevent... so yes, I’m pretty sure Dak pads stats well against cover 2 prevent defenses. We saw it last game getting blown out by Chicago..

but continue on..

Remember when Goff went to the SB, despite playing like Dak is now to end the season, and they gave him a 100 million dollar extension to start this season.. how did that work out?

Your turn..

Cabo Romo. 50 year old Brett Favre outplaying Romo. 8-8 Romo three years in a row losing to each NFC East team when it counted. The man had his chance. He is in the booth were he belongs. Let it go.

OMG it’s been too long to read something like this. The five percenters (that’s what anti-Romos are called) still pop up once in awhile.

I’m not gonna waste another post or even read your reply (I’m sure you will try) because it’s been said and done about Romo too many times and those battles are over. I’m retired. But every once in awhile it’s okay to try and make better Cowboy fans out of people.

So let me dust off some of my number 9 shutdowns from the good ole days.

Actually your three examples are laughable and borderline embarrassing...in other words too easy. You had to be much better than that in the Romo days in here. This leaves me to believe you might be too young, weren’t around or just don’t know so here’s a refresher.

Cabo game...Romo has two dropped TDs by Clayton and Fasano while Jacque Reeves single handily allows the Giants to march down the field on four consecutive passes and score a TD at the end of the first half. Cabo is a mirage and a drive by cheap shot. He wasn’t great but played well enough to win.

Favre outplayed Romo? This perhaps is the funniest of all examples. The Vikings game was a jail break from the first snap. Romo had no chance. The Vikings Ray Edwards had three sacks, three hurries and a forced fumble in the FIRST HALF by himself. Neither Aikman or Staubach would’ve had a prayer that game. If Brett Favre quarterbacked the Cowboys that game his career would’ve ended let alone win.

And then of course the 8-8 years that as most knowledgeable fans know were 4-12 teams. Romo keep them relevant at 8-8.

The only easier Romo falsehood than these examples is blaming him for losing the Denver game when he put up 45 points. People who think that shouldn’t even be on a football message board so I’m glad to see you avoided that one.

But hey, don’t argue with me, go after the HOFers. Ask Troy or Roger or Emmitt or Drew or Irvin if he was good enough to win Super Bowls. Hell even Jerry has stated many times his biggest regret as the owner of the Cowboys was wasting his career through bad drafts. He had horrific offense lines early in his career and a bottom five pass defense most of his career which if you know football (I’ll assume you do) you know is the best predictor of team success, especially in the playoffs when you face good QBs.

So to sum it up...

He still is 4th all time in QB Rating at 97
He has a QB Playoff rating of 92.4 with 6 TD and 2 INTs.
He has a better career INT percentage than Aikman, Staubach, Elway, Moon and Bradshaw to name a few and is tied with Peyton Manning where they rank 33 out of 300.
He has over 34,000 yards and 248 TDs.

In 2014 he led the league in-

Total QBR 81.6
Completion Percentage 69.9
Passer a Rating 113.2 for the SEASON
Yards per attempt 8.5
TD to INT ratio 3.8

He played. Near perfect game game against the Packer and lost on a call that today is a catch and should be been the league MVP.

If everybody else in the organization had done their job as well as he did in his career we would’ve won Super Bowls despite Jerry.

If you still hate Tony you can always pick up a Quincy Carter blue jersey on sale, wear it proudly and tell everybody “Oh what could’ve been.”k8

You are the best example of a Romo truther. Its everybody's fault we lost but Romo. Eli outplayed him in 2007. We had the best talent in the league outside of the Patriots. The bottom line Tony never won anything here that is reality. We had the best defense in the league when old man Farve beat us. If you are that guy you have to win those games. 4-12 teams instead of 8-8 please. You have to beat RG knee and Dumb Face Eli. He was injured against Philadelphia so maybe he would have won that game. The only game I don't blame him for is the Seattle game when Parcels decides to not throw the ball against a decimated Seahawks secondary. There is a reason why we did not throw more and I bet BB did not trust Romo.

This is so ******** ...Did you ever play football
Your reasoning is childish.... when Cowboy's dominate lesser teams...Yeah Zeke and Oline!!! but Cowboys go against better teams it is Dak's fault we suck smh

I love the way Dak pads his stats against Playoff teams 75.5 QBR

"Cover 2 is prevent" lol... Yes in Madden.

See you week 16!
